Yes, but make sure they read through the instructions to learn how to thread the machine, use the needle threader and load the bobbin

Q: Can I see tulle or lace with it?

Do not buy this machine. It broke after using a few times. I couldn’t return it, so I just needed to throw this away.

Q: I bought this in Dec 19 but already broken. Can you fix it ?

Present for my granddaughter. Was broke when she opened it. Had to return it. I do not recommend this product to anyone.
