Nuvo Iron PCP02 3 1/2" Pyramid Post Cap, 3-1/2 x 3-1/2 inch, Black

These are high-quality aluminum (not plastic!) post caps that will add a touch of class to your project. They fit well onto a “4x4” post. (4x4’s are actually 3-1/2”x3-1/2”, and these caps are sized correctly for your lumber.) They are either powder-coated or anodized black, and look like they will last the life of your fence or structure, and continue to look fantastic. The price is also fantastic for such high quality. I recommend them over any other post caps I have found.

Great post cap! This is my second one and I am very happy with it. Simple, one piece design. Takes two screws (provided) to hold in place. My previous cap was made from cedar with copper top - looked really nice when new, but quickly tarnished and eventually the cedar cracked and failed, so I tried this one and I can tell by the design that it will last a very long time. I also like that it is available in a wide variety of sizes - just be sure to measure your post before ordering to insure you get the right fit.

I ordered multiple versions of this item and none of them fit perfectly on the 3.5 by 3.5 post. I just had to make due. Still, it looks good!

I have ordered 18 of these and over half of them have been returned and replaced due the adapter missing from the package. Not impressed with my time being wasted with returns and drop off at the return center

Some may not like the manufacturer's name embossed in large letters along the edge but I don't mind the look. The fit is larger than the finished size of 4-inch posts by about a quarter inch so if you want the look to be even put both screws in and snug them up alternately so the overhang is even. This may make the top a bit loose so if you want a tighter fit choose a side to butt the top up against, screw it tight against the wood and live with the overhang on the other side.

Exact match for the 6x6 ones that I already had in place on deck posts. These were used for a privacy fence around the above ground pool equipment ... so they tie in nice. As with the others --- well made, costing is good, and all you need is included to install.

Was looking for something sturdy. It is well made and looks really sharp.
