Absolutely love this author. Am a fan of Kimberley Chambers and was looking for similar authors and someone on the Gangland author Facebook page recommended Kerry. So glad to have found her. She is getting better and better with each book. This one is a standalone and the characters come to life with the way the book is written. Not going to spoil it by saying anything about the plot but you wont be disappointed if you like this genre. Well done Kerry and look forward to your next one.

I've had this book on pre-order for a while and have been looking forward to reading it. I've enjoyed Barking Boy, Top Dog and Scorned so eagerly awaited The Price.Another great story from Kerry. Fletch is a likeable character. A bit of a rogue with a heart of gold. Lots of twists and turns that have had me almost shouting at my Kindle "Don't do that" 🤣 and I really didn't see that ending coming.Well done Kerry. An exciting, gritty read. Just sorry I've finished it

Brilliant twist in this plot.. Heart stopping & emotional reading. Highly recommended this amazing author.. Eagerly awaiting a new book

After a slow start, the story took off and it was gritty and realistic as it showed the the true nature of gangland life, it wasn't glamorised as in other books and the saying if you live by the sword then you die by the sword rings true and everyone who did anything wrong certainly got their punishment regardless of their intentions or reasons. I loved that Fletch looked out for Spencer and Stevie and went to great lengths to protect especially Spencer by trying to keep him away from George. I would definitely recommend reading this and Kerry's other books.

Kerry Kaya has nailed it again with a hard hitting emotional book that tells us the story of Fletch and Spencer and the work they do for Billy King a known face and a man you never cross.Billy has a hatred for George Bannerman a dangerous face from across the river and when they come face to face at a birthday party for Billy's wife it could be nasty but Billy has to calm down.I can honestly say i loved this book and cried at the end well worth the 5*

Thoroughly enjoyed this book from a great story teller. I was involved in the plot from the first page, and engrossed in the twists of the plot, which on occasions resulted in my re-reading a page to make sure I’d taken in the latest developments. Kept the pages turning right until the end. Have read all of the books by this author, and so looking forward to her next one. Brilliant!

What an amazing storyline loved Fletcher and Spence I would highly recommend this book to all gangster fans.Hope the next book won't be to long before its released well done Kerry brilliant book
