Tainted Creek (The Allstars Series) Paperback – 9 July 2021

So this is the follow on from toxic Creek, why should I be surprised by the huge cliffhanger that it finished on but I am I have been so invested in this book for the last 24hours when my life (kids dance playing taxi ) havent got in the way , to say this book was a roller coaster is an understatement Eden is so strong an the allstars omg they just get better to say I'm ready for the next instalment now is the biggest understatement of all . Well done KC Kean another corker of a book roll on the 14th of September even though in my guts I feel this is a typo an its suposed to be the 14th of August.

Amazing follow up to the first book. I could not put it down!! Soon as it released i was reading it and stayed up all night !! Ill be struggling with my day but i don’t regret it on bit …. Every time you think you get an understanding of all the secrets that rule this place the author throws a new spanner in the works as they say and your left just as stressed and confused as the main character. Amazing writing and cant wait for the next instalment!!!!

Jeezoh we were left on an epic cliffhanger from book 1, so I am bang up for book 2 even if it is 2am!Well this was a beautiful slice of smut, wrapped in hellscape plot twists and a mammy that needs to reign herself in!And the cliffhanger endings - dearest author I mean this in the nicest possible way - WHAT THE FLUFF DUDE!!!!4⭐️

Well that's how to end a book and write an afterword, I will not swear in my review! That's like double cliffie, like twice the torture...you're beautifully twisted KC Kean.I loved this one, I think more than book one...but my gosh there are so many questions in my head. I can identify with Eden as I have no idea what's going on either lol. I feel so bad for her and I want to slap her mother!Hunter is still my guy, but they all grew on me so much in this one, yes even Xavier and it was so nice to get more snippets on their back stories. I don't know about Eden but I have fallen for them all, yes I have a favourite still...it's allowed!Let's talk MVPs Bethany and Ryan, where do I find friends like that. Seriously I'm in love with them.Can't wait for the next one. (Reaches out with grabby hands...)

After that Bombshell at the end of the last book (which I had guessed before it was revealed) and with Xavier acting cold and distant, Eden is left reeling and not knowing what to do.Eden's strength and fiesty personality is admirable and I love how determined she is to make the all-stars grovel hard and get her revenge back on them.I love Bethany and her husband Ryan.Again this books on an almighty cliffhanger and I'm intrigued to see how everything gets resolved in the final book.

Stars given on level of engagement;5 stars - less than a day to read because I cannot put it down. I only give 5 stars if it has managed to engage extra emotions from me - extreme lol moments or real teary moments etc. A 5 stars book tends to have me raging about cliff hangers and (legally and not creepily) stalking the author for release dates.4 stars - 2 days to read or less. A book that I have quite enjoyed reading, feisty MC and some racy scenes with thier romantic interest. I would definitely follow a series and author for 4 star books.3 stars - takes around 2/3 days to read, usually because I have become distracted and less engaged in some sections but by the end the end I have enjoyed the overall story and would read any sequels.1/2 stars not given, as I have usually returned it without finishing as I'm not engaged. .

OMG Eden is a Super Bad Bitch, and takes not cheap which the Allstars think is HOT. She still doesn't know why knights mum wants to destroy her brother does he. But she is a fighter and fights all the way. Roxy and KitKat are on a death wish keep messing with Eden l know who l am putting my money on. Ilana th a the town and everything in it she is Evil to play her own son and his friends, but to try and protect Eden they tell her to Run when Ilana has her own sons and friend thrown I to prison because they have decided to defend Eden. But Eden never got to tell them the surprise she has for them into book 3

Book 2 just surpassed book 1. I loved the tension, the twists, especially the aftermath of the twist from book one. Steam and romance has definitely increased as an added bonus. However, I absolutely love the how the mystery is becoming deeper and different layers are very, very slowly being revealed.I really enjoy these characters because they are all so different from one another. Together they just make sense. Again, I want to complement the author on her riveting side characters because I want to know as much about them as I do with the main characters.The ending of this book was a bit more of a cliffhanger whereas the first book was more of a big twist. I think both were done very well and both had/have me excited for the next book. Book 3 is going to be explosive.

Whaaaaaaaat 😱😱😱 What the whatey what OMG. I need a minute or five (thank you, Eden)Picks up from where the last book left off. So many lies, secrets, corruption, and hidden damage in this toxic town with abusive megalomaniacs. We learn a few more things and add a hundred new questions. I'm loving the mystery and intrigue as well as seeing the growth and development of the characters. All have changed since Eden came to this town, including Eden herself, and I have a feeling that they will be tested further only to come out stronger, together.I love Eden's inner strength and fortitude, her unwillingness to compromise herself, and her moments of weakness and vulnerability. And as much as she wants to be the strong, independent woman who stands on her own, she acknowledges her own stubbornness and lets herself accept the support of others, when she trusts them - - which is huge for me. I get so annoyed when the FMC is too stubborn for her own good or insists on doing everything alone.I was so pissed at the Allstars in the last book, but I have got to say that they have won me over now and have stolen my heart - even Xavier. I can't spell out why without spoilers. I'll just say that I love seeing his growth journey. It's not a 180. He gets there in his own way, and it feels like a perfect complement to Eden. I love how each H is unique to them; they have different personalities, strengths, and vulnerabilities and connect with Eden in their own way, while figuring out this new dynamic of their inner circle.I love that additional characters have been written in to offer healthy, supportive relationships to the FMC outside of the love interests. Now my fingers are crossed that these besties can be in the presence of PDA and act with maturity *cough* Red *cough*

Was zur Hölle war das denn?!Das kann die Autorin doch nicht machen…..cliffhanger am schönsten und spannendstem Teil…..Aber wirklich schlauer am Ende dieses Buch bin ich auch nicht🧐KC Kean schaffte es mich durch das ganze Buch nach Wahrheiten zu jagen um endlich das warum und wieso Eden all das Elend ertragen muss…… Schrecklich…….🥲Ich freue mich jetzt schon wie der Osterhase auf Band 3 und erwartete mit Spannung und Erwartungen auf Aufklärung der Rätsel…….

Loving this series. Can’t wait to read all series to be complete so I can finally get the answers to all the questions that have so far been left unanswered. The story line and characters are great this book has enough suspense to keep you reading until the end but be aware of the cliff hanger ending.Can wait till September to read more about Eden and the All Stars

I immediately started this book after ending the first and could not put it down. Eden delves deeper into the lies and twisted web that is Knights Creek, and the guys are rising up to help. I would’ve liked a bit more groveling from them considering what they did to her, but I love them anyway. There is a plot point at the end that, while twisty, I don't care for in my reads (just a personal preference). I'm curious as to how this will all play out based on that cliffhanger. On to book three!
