These ear cup replacements are "good enough" I guess. I will be interested to see how long they last. I wear my headset throughout most of my work day, so roughly 40 hours a week. The original cups on my Sennheiser PXC-550-II lasted around 20 months before the leather started separating at the seams.The replacements were easy enough to install but the foam is certainly not the same quality as the original ear cups. It's not as elastic, and takes much longer to return to its original form/shape if it is compressed (see pics). The leather feels about the same. For $15, I don't regret the purchase to extend the life of headphones I love, but as mentioned above, we'll see how long these last.

These have been on for a few months now after the stock ones head started to come apart. They feel just like the OEM ones and are holding up well.* Yes, they're slightly annoying to install. But That's on Sennheiser.

Very easy to install! Not quite as "deep" as the original pads so the hard plastic interior makes contact with my ears - gets sore after an hour of online meeting. But a better cost alternative to buying a whole new headphone.

The reason for four stars is that I don't know the durability yet. Installation was a little finicky has you have to get them exactly lined up, but it wasn't difficult. Comfort is great, and at about 50% of the price of the branded replacement they are a great value.

If you treat these headphones right this should be all you need to keep them nice and functional. Don't listen to the lemons whining that they sound different after installation those people didn't snap the cups all the way in. Bottom line is these are perfect as long as you put them in correctly and I will be buying them again and again and again.

On-time delivery. I was expecting an ok Replacement for my PXC 550. This one exceeded my expectations. It might even be better than the original. Soft, comfortable and noise cancelling. Happy with the purchase.

These make the pxc 550's feel like a completely different headset, and not in a good way. i've owned my pair since 2018. the ear pads had been tearing up from so much use. i vividly recall putting on the headphones, and them being the most comfortable pair i'd experienced. these ear pads change that. they also drastically lower the audio quality. the sounds vertebrate off the pads, making them sound like you're watching a cheap recording of a bootleg movie. supposedly, there is the possibility to buy authentic, however, i will be re-upholstering the original foam, with as soft a material as i can. if you buy these, and you're a true audiophile (assuming you would be if you're buying sennheiser), you will be gravely disappointed. but they're decent if you're in a pinch to repair your old ear pads.
