Decent, but a lot of faffing about. You need the whole setup to appreciate
Edited 05/02/2023 now added the Home subwoofer. This is now a completely different system. If you really want to experience a sound system to rival Home cinema. You need the Home sub woofer; it takes everything to the next level.Decent speakers, my set up is a denon soundbar 716 sound bar, *2 speakers.I have to admit, going from a wired System to a Wireless you notice the difference straight away. The sounds from Wired is incomparable, I don’t care what anyone says.Wireless is good as you don’t have all the wires so you have freedom but sound no way. You must be a technomaniac or or oblivious to say wireless is better than wired.I have noticed some latency very small but I’m critical like this. You never get this with wired but as a conclusion.I am happy with the set up.Need to order a subwoofer to complete the set up, but it’s costing serious money to get a wireless system. Compared to other wireless systems? Not going to mention any Brands Denon Is highly superior, not just saying that because I have it. It’s just a fact.I’ve heard the difference and yeah, other brands, sorry you have a lot of catching up to do. It’s like a 5 year old against Ussain bolt, no contest. You’re doing well but believe me, you are not even close to the game. Nothing against you but I’ve heard the expensive £500+ but still it’s tinny and crap.If you think otherwise you must be delusional, the Denon is well far superior. The denon has a decent weight to speakers, this lets you know there are quality components inside. I’ve seen these light weight brands, believe me. They are light weight because they’re hollow crap. Don’t sell it as light weight before functionality. You’ll notice this straight away when you turn the bass up. Light means well rubbish !If I can mark the Denon out of 10, it would be 6.5 or 7. It’s not quiet there but thereabouts. Yes I have it and it’s cost me close to £1200 pounds and I don’t have a subwoofer yet. It’s good and no complaints. My Cars B&O system is far superior to the denon though. B&O 600W mind blowingThe plus points are, no wires so distance in a room is excellent. The bass without subwoofer is acceptable, compared to others? Honestly there is no comparison. You have to hear differences. You will notice after 15 seconds & think is this a joke ?Denon good job but you need to try harder mate

Not so smart speaker. Read me
UPDATE unfortunately the firmware update is still not released by Denon for smart speaker capability. I've also since found that when it is released, it will only be for very simple instructions such as play or skip track. There is no asking the weather or adjusting the heating etc as you would expect a smart device to achieve. If returning do not use hermes, they take upto one month if not lost at present!! Had to contact customer services on amazon lots who have now refunded thankfully. Have since bought a Google home max which is perfect for my needs with both aux, superb sound and of course Google assistant.I've been waiting for so long for a high end smart speaker with oomph with an all important AUX outlet. It's main popular rival of similar colour, is a great speaker, but no way of connecting a mixer without buying yet more expensive equipment to bridge them together. Enter the Denon home 150 with the aux!If you have turntables (I.E Technics 1210s) boxed up for years. But only wanted to get them out into the living room in a subtle concealed unit, the only thing stopping me was I didn't just want any speakers as usual connected I wanted a smart one and also which blended in with the decor. (room is grey and white, so this is perfect!). My mixer connected no problem with a 2x phono to 1x 3.5mm jack splitter cable, using the heos app you just choose aux as the output. The sound on this is booming, even on a third of the volume is enough for my living room loud enough. Half setting it's pumping, full setting you would have to shout at the other person and maybe upset the neighbours. Which leads me into being glad I got just the one, as it's so powerful on it's own. The treble and bass on the app are at a default zero zero. Adjusting the treble to max makes this perfectly clear, otherwise the treble is muffled.Very happy with this denon home 150, personally I didn't need a huge wall of rave sound blasting the place down like the old days, just a subtle nice quality looking unit for the living room, with superb sound, and then an assistant when not playing music on hand to deal with smart gadgets in the home amongst other things.

A great performer
The sound quality is very good, and the dialogue enhancement is fantastic. There is a good amount of base that can be adjusted to your own preference. I would recommend this soundbar to anyone looking for a better sound quality than the tv’s speaker

Nice but..
Excellent price and great sound, nice and compact and good features. Delivered promptly and well packaged but remote control not functional and really couldn't be bothered to send the whole thing back so just using the HEOS app which is OK.

Best Compact Soundbar
Initially wanted the Sonos Beam Gen2 but it doesn’t have an HDMI input. So unless your tv outputs Dolby Atmos, you ain’t getting it.Whereas the Denon does have an input, so plug a firestick or equivalent into it, and you have Dolby Atmos capability straight away. It also passes through Dolby Vision HDR if your tv supports it.The resulting sound is very good overall, but obviously doesn’t shake the walls with bass, or have the ultimate in object placement surround. But, it does have a degree of spaciousness, and enough bass to make a difference. If you’re in the market for a compact Soundbar, this one ticks most of the boxes, and is an equal to the Sonos beam gen 2, but with the added benefit of an HDMI input.
