My battery had completed stopped charging, the new battery fit perfectly and worked perfectly

This Battery Works on the Dell XPS1810
I had no issues installing this battery into my Dell XPS 1810. It had a 75% charge out of the box and works perfectly fine on this computer.

It worked, go for it.
My old battery reached the point the system wouldn't even power on. Replacing the battery involved moving a lot of tape, wires and unscrewing, but this was by Dell's design not the battery manufacturer's. After the battery was replaced, it worked fine once again. I went this this battery because I didn't want to spend full price on a hunch this was the correct repair and was not disappointed with it at all.

My dell recognized this battery
even though it did not say DELL on the label - and it is such a fussy DELL. I tried other batteries that were rejected regardless of the fact that they were sold as DELL compatible. This one worked.
