great laser
Great laser for acoustical ceilings, the laser is very bright and can be seen further then the red lasers. The only thing i dislike is that its not rechargeable it takes two d batteries

Point mode works outdoors brilliantly
Reading some reviews I was unsure of the power and versatility of this product outdoors. Let me assure you this product CAN be used outdoors in direct sunlight BUT only in point mode. 5 degree oscillation can be used in the shade. To be clear: even at distances over 50 feet the laser in point mode is visible in direct sunlight which is extremely valuable for marking lines outside on large structures.Furthermore the auto leveling is intelligent and quick and adapts well with my workflow.I recommend pairing this with the BT300 tripod if you need to mark lines at precise heights and not arbitrary heights.

Huge savings on excellent tool!!
This was a huge bargain, bought on Amazon. Amazon had this laser kit for sale at many hundreds of dollars less than anywhere else. Came just as described, brand new in original box and packaging, and extremely fast shipping. Easy to understand and use. Remote control is a must, for solo projects. Green beam is much more visible outdoors, and very crisp indoors. Tool is very rugged, and is built to withstand harsh jobsite conditions. Great buy at an awesome price, get yours while this price lasts!!

It doesn't walk....
Laser doesn't "walk" on ceilings. Not very useful for the price.

Won't work in sunlight without reciever.
This laser will NOT work outside in any type of sun light. The line was difficult to see even at 6 am. You must have the receiver. If everything you do is exterior, I'd stay with a red laser and save the money. I do not do interior work. As of 7-13-15, Bosch does not have the green light receiver available, so make sure you can get one before ordering. I returned it.

It is pricey but you can see the green laser.
I bought this for my son who builds indoor target ranges all over the US. He has to have a laser that he can see in all kinds of light. He had a red laser but it was difficult knowing or seeing the red in lining up the plates of steel as a distance. With this laser product he had no problem.It saved time, frustration and money in the end.
