What I really appreciate is how the book reinforces spelling rules as well as individual word lists. My child has started to apply these rules in their own writing, which is exactly what I was hoping for. The weekly structure works well at home, but would also be useful alongside schoolwork. I purchased this book for my child in Year 4, and it’s been an excellent support for their spelling practice. The book is well laid out with bite-sized exercises that don’t feel daunting, making it easy to fit into a few minutes each day. The activities are varied, so children stay engaged, and it builds up skills progressively rather than throwing in tricky words all at once.
