J'ai isolé mes '' HEADERS '' (tuyau d'échappement) sur ma voiture ''MUSSLE CAR'' parce qu'ils devenais trop chaud sous le capot. J'ai ainsi éviter d'endommager les fillages électriques et les boyaux en caoutchouc qui passait trop près et que je ne pouvais pas relocaliser ailleurs. En plus, plusieurs amis m'ont affirmés que c'était bénéfique pour le moteur de garder l'intérieur des ''HEADERS'' plus chaud (la chaleur qui brulait mes fils électriques en irradiant est à présent maintenue à l'intérieur des tuyaux). Par contre, éviter d'envelopper les tuyaux qui peuvent se faire mouiller parce que ce produit retiens l'humidité près du métal et le fait rouiller beaucoup plus rapidement (même si vous penser que la chaleur fera évaporer l'eau...il n'en est rien). Je suis très confiant que ce produit gardera sa belle couleur très longtemps puisque la qualité semble être au rendez-vous. Merci , si j'ai besoin pour un autre projet...je rachèterais sans hésiter.

La utilice para aislar una de las tuberías de los headers en mi carro, que estaba muy cerca del cable de una bujía. La verdad, hace buen trabajo al aislar el calor, ya que el cable no se ha vuelto a quemar. Con una sola tubería es muy dificil determinar si se ha reducido la temperatura en el engine bay, por los que pienso revestir los 8 tubos de los headers para comprobar que efectivamente, reduce el calor.Nota: Usar guantes y camisa manga larga durante su manipulación e instalación, ya que está hecha de fibra y puede causar fuerte irritación en la piel

This stuff works so well that my car doesn't warm up as fast in the cold of Canadian winters. Easy to install (if a bit time consuming, but all header wrap is the same in that respect), and looks very attractive once installed. Under-hood temps are lower with my aftermarket header and this wrap than with OEM manifold and heat shields. I would definitely recommend this to anyone in need of good looking and effective header wrap. One thing to keep in mind though: it may be helpful to buy a roll of 1" wrap as well to do the runners that are in tighter spaces. Also, it should be noted that rather then buy the stainless zip ties from DEI, you can get them in the zip tie aisle at Canadian Tire for $6.00/10 ties. Thank me later for that little piece of advice!

Bought this for tuned pipe on my fresh breeze paramotor.to increase hp.just a word of caution when installing make sure u wear a long sleeve shirt and long pants or ul be scratching. Busted out in cuts day latter.didnt have much luck with stainless tie straps.dont pull tight enough but found this stuff made by imperial . Comes in a rope kit for woodstove door seal replacement kit .comes with 2 ounces of casket adhesive rated to 1000 f(500) c hope this helps
