Hubby review: Bought these as belts for hiking pants, and they work perfectly. My buckle vocabulary is very limited, but the strap holds the prongy part 100% solidly. I read one review that said the prongy part slips off. Did they slather it in hog fat? Admittedly, I have library arms, but when I buckle it together and pull it as hard as I can, I can't budge it. (It also stays solid when I wear it as a belt.) Make sure you thread it correctly: up through the slot near the prongs, then down through the far slot. And resist the urge to slather it in hog fat.

These straps work well and are very versatile. I use them to hold the batteries in place in my RV. I have also used them to temporarily hold up a sunscreen in the RV when the motor quit. I keep a few on hand for emergencies.

This has been such a grounded little upgrade for my setup. I’m using them to hold down the tarp on my golf cart, and they really anchor everything with solid durability and strength. The 47” length feels intentional — long enough to wrap securely but not excessive. I love the adjustability; it gives that “custom fit” energy without the struggle. Super easy to tighten and release, and they store compactly without taking up space. The only reason it’s not five stars is I wish they had just a touch more storage capacity stretch-wise — but overall, they totally get the job done with ease and flow

Product meets expectations

I've purchased these straps three times. I use them for camping, for securely wrapping my luggage and as a belt when I want to avoid security issues at the airport. First two purchases were perfect. Strong, long enough that they can be adapted to many uses and the adjustable clasp (one end is fixed, the other adjustable) easily modified and once set, hold very well. This latest purchase was disappointing, the adjustable clasp was different and would not hold the strap at all. After trying various methods of 'dressing' the strap thru the adjustable clasp I could not find a method that retained the strap. Unfortunately I discovered the error too late to return the product. The initial packages were so useful I'm considering purchasing a fourth package hoping the error has been discovered and repaired.

These were just what I was looking for but couldn't tell from Description. If you run the strap thru the buckle once you can then one pull cinch the strap tight, or loosen. I added these to my backpack and very happy with them. These are not the highest quality straps out there but good enough and for price
