Very Good Steam Iron from Inalsa (Taurus Group, Spain)
Very Good Steam Iron from Inalsa (Taurus Group, Spain). Using it since 3 years now.I was on a look out for a good steam iron as my current one Philips GC 2520 (2000 W, 30g steam, 90 g Steam Burst, 29 steam holes in sole plate) started giving trouble with steam function.I thought of ordering Inalsa Geyser Titanium 2000 W, 22g steam, 160g Steam Burst, 28 steam holes in sole plate). I had heard of very good reviews about Inalsa especially in North of India for their home appliances (Kitchen), but these are not hugely popular in West and South of India.I was using Philips steam iron since 14 years (GC 1010 for 5 yrs & the GC 2520 is still doing good duty since last 10 years) and was bit hesitant to move away from the brand. Philips products was always good, ergonomic and never had any trouble so far.Since the specs and reviews of Inalsa were positive, I thought to try Inalsa 2000W Geyser Titanium Steam IronPros- Bigger sole plate 10” X 5” (Philips GC 2520 is 8.5” x 4.5”), Almost 25% increase in sole plate area, Covers more area in one go.- Titanium Coated Aluminium Alloy Sole Plate, so glides on clothes- Super powerful steam, especially in Steam Burst mode- Regular steam can be adjusted to 6 levels unlike Philips GC 2520 which has only 2 modes.- 10 Amp Plug suitable with 3 pin 5A plug points (Philips GC 2520 had 10 Amp plug suitable with 3 pin 15A plug point)- In built 300 ml water tank- Comes with 225 ml plastic mug- Self cleaning button- Anti Calc & Anti Drip – Most steam iron has these featuresCons- Shorter cable length (1.7m vs 1.85 m of Philips)- Slightly heavy due to bigger size sole plate and 300 ml of water tankSo far good. I am not sure of the durability of the product though overall build quality is good. Plastic cap for water inlet shut strong, quite difficult to open, though the hinge assembly is slightly loose fitting. You have to be really careful with it.I would rate the performance of steam iron on par or even better than Philips GC 2520, especially the Super strong steam burst. This is really a good value for the money at Rs:1849 and certainly an underdog. Inalsa is now owned by Taurus Group based in Spain and they have same model steam iron sold in Europe & UK in 2600WREVIEW on 12 June 2021 - Over 2.6 years into usage, this is BETTER than Philips of similar specs. 100% satisfied. Though i thought 22g regular steam is wee bit low compared to 30g regular steam of my older Philips, but the steam output was better. The Titanium coated sole plate is better than Philips, as it glides over any type of fabric.GO FOR IT...

Absolutely nonsense Brand Inalsa
The worst product i have ever bought , infact the brand inalsa does not deserve even 1 star ,it should be given 0 star rating. If your product malfunctions, after complaining 10 times , technical staff will visit your home and pick up the product by promising to return the product after repairing in a day or two but for next 2 months, your job will only be to call the customer care of inalsa every morning and remind them about your product and you will always get only one reply,i e. Just give us a day or two and we will deliver your product..Very very bad experience with Inalsa, i will never ever buy any product of inalsa. Our malfuntioned steam iron was picked by inalsa staff on 12th Dec 2024 and i waited for a week for their response but to no avail..Then i started calling their customer care no. And i was assured every day that just give us a day or two..after 30 days i was told that my steam iron will be replaced in a day or two..again the same routine i had to follow i.e. calling them everyday but again the same reply ,gives us a day or two..Finally on 8th Feb.2025 the iron was delivered to us, but to my surprise the same iron was again delivered to us ,without any repair..Now i am fedup with Inalsa, will not do any more follow ups with them , as my gime is more importang then this steam iron.

Good performance and warranty support
Excellent product for the reasonable price. What impressed me most was the amazingly fast response by the Customer Support team to repair at home itself ( in South Central Delhi) a minor issue with my iron, within 4 hours of putting a complaint. And this support was given after one and a half year of purchase ( product has 2 years warranty)

Leakage
The water leakage was the only issue in this iron, rest all was well. The iron was sturdy and light, has good amount of water storage. Leakage was messy

Excellent premium featured Steam Iron
Coming from a user of other popular steam irons from Philips and Morphy Richards, this one from Inalsa looks like a winner with top notch build quality, premium features and a great price tag for everything it offers (the sale made it even sweeter)+ Bigger size and soleplate than other standard models like Philips GC1905+ Great ironing quality, especially with steam+ Large water tank capacity, powerful steam+ wonderful soleplate, smooth and just glides offer fabric+ 2000W is as much as one would need. Fast heating and good steam generation+ Good and practically useful features like anti drip, self clean and very useful steam burst+ Excellent build quality+ Thoughtful design, for example rubberized coating on the part which the iron rests on. Shakes much less when stowed upright on an ironing table. Much lesser than other irons. Great job on the design- As many others have noted, the cord length needs to be a bit longer.- There's a smell of solder/flux upon first steam usage, but this may be expected and normal- It's very easy to accidentally change the temperature control knob with your fingers while ironing. The knob should be weighed down more to prevent this.- I'm really nitpicking, but the metallised plastic bit in the front doesn't go very well with the otherwise excellent design and looks.
