Q: Why does this say "nut-free" if there is sacha inchi in this powder?

The sacha inchi plant, Plukenetia volubilis, is a rainforest vine, with star-shaped seed pods, meaning that these Inca peanuts are technically seeds, not nuts.

Q: The label says causes cancer and reproductive harm and birth defects. Can you please explain this!?

The "California sticker" that people are so upset about is 100% standard in California and on absolutely everything. I wouldn't be worried. For example, I bought a 100% natural wooden bench. It came with a sticker that said wood dust caused cancer and reproductive harm and birth defects. Go California! They should really be more careful because once you put that label on everything, it's not informative anymore!

Q: Where are the ingredients sourced from ? Any ingredients sourced from or processed in, China?

4 of the 15 ingredients are from China, but they, like all of our ingredients are certified organic and 3rd party tested in the US per USP's (US Pharmacopeia) strict standards. Q: Does it taste good in water?

All of our products are formulated to taste great in just water. In the particular case of Epic Protein : Vanilla Lucuma, it's best with 2 scoops of protein powder in 8 oz of liquid, shaken well or blended. Once you start blending in other ingredients like frozen fruits, the delicious flavor is amplified.
