We had a great time playing with this kit. It can be used to create the building pictured, or you can DIY your own creation. The cement was easy to mix, the bricks and tiles worked well and we enjoyed trying the windows and doors and furniture that were included. We made a tiny mausoleum with our materials and added our own paint and moss. It's a great kit and was lots of fun for the tweens and adults in our household. I imagine it's great fun for all ages.

I had ordered this kit over a year ago for my then 7 year old son. The kit arrived undamaged, and included all materials listed. To my surprise, he was not interested in building the kit house. So, we shelved it for a later time. That time finally came recently; he is now almost 9. He definitely needed help with the instructions, and set up. Once I got him started on this project, he was able to manage construction with minimal supervision. We had decided to mix the cement in increments; he tends to lose interest in most projects rather quickly. We set his house up in side a large cardboard box in order to avoid a mess. It's a unique and fun kit; full of learning opportunity. Highly recommend.

I got the ‘Level 2’ set and completed it with my 4 and 7 year old sons and it went well. It’s really similar to a lego build, with the extra step of using cement. The cement is made of sand, starch and water. You MUST mix the sand and starch first, before adding water. If you don’t, the starch will clump together and it will be impossible to get the lumps out of the cement. We still used our lumpy first batch, though. The cement is really great, in my opinion. It holds well, even before it dries, but still allows you to make adjustments. It washes off things well, and when the house dries, it is very solid. The bricks and tile are quality and it’s just like building a real tiny house. My boys enjoyed it, but we did have to break it up into two days (because of attention spans). The problem was, when we went back to finish the second day, we were not able to make adjustments so the triangles right under the roof were a little out of alignment and stuck out just a bit. Otherwise, it was not difficult and the instructions are clear and similar to lego steps. The base has two sides for two different builds. There were some pieces left over from the build we did, which was good because we were sent one random different style of fence. We also had extra cement ingredients left, probably enough for one more build. My boys expressed an interest in playing with the pieces before we started, and also with the house when it was done. I’m very happy with this set.

Excellent as a resource for our Co-Op Engineering/Architect Academy class this year. Easy to undo any misplaced pieces and correct, and love that these are real bricks. Would definitely purchase again.
