Bought this as a gift for a friend. I read this book decades ago and bought my first shares of stock with its advice and doubled my money in less than a year! It's a good book with sound investing principles and it provides a method to quickly analyze stocks and other investments. It's one of several books that everyone should read if they have an interest in investing. This book has been updated over the years with many additions and the fact that it is still being purchased more than 40 years later, despite thousands of published investment books over that time, is a testament to its wisdom and value.

Explains everything in PLAIN ENGLISH and does NOT waste your time trying to “UPSELL YOU” another expensive program!To the point and easy to understand!!

The books talks a lot about other books and doesn’t really teach me any specifics on investing and when it does isn’t easy to understand. I need a book that gets to the point a lot quicker and explains to the average reader that doesn’t have a background in finance and assume I know what they’re talking about.

I bought this based on a recommendation from someone I trust, and I have not been disappointed. It's easy to read and filled with hundreds (at least hundreds, probably more) of practical tips and wisdom for anyone. I particularly was interested to share this with my adult kids, so I actually bought multiple copies. I'm very satisfied and am sure it will be a gift they appreciate over the years. Well worth the cost.
