Great value for the product. The lanterns were exactly as described. The multi-light feature was very cool. The regular lights were bright enough to light our camp area and easy to use by just popping open the canister. The flame feature provides a nice ambiance, but very dim light. The handles were great because I was able to hang the lanterns right off a tree. We kept them lit for several hours and had no issue with battery life. They are lightweight, but durable.

Giving 5 stars because flame effect lanterns are kind of hard to find, and these do great for that function. Pros: -Easy to switch between bright white and flame modes (just close and open the lantern, it will switch automatically each time) -The flame flicker effect is very nice. Warm orange, ambient, sets a nice mood when you're walking around in the dark or sitting with friends. -Doesn't use up batteries quickly. I used one of these for at least an hour every day for 6 weeks and maybe changed the batteries once, if that (don't quite recall) -Bright white mode is great when you need to see well. Cons: -Don't really love the yellow lantern color, but at least they're easy to find and recognize as yours. -I prefer a warm white to the cool white of the bright mode -The handles come off too easily, so was often fiddling with that to get them back on. Overall recommend! The flame effect isn't super realistic but it's good enough for me. -I

These lanterns are durable. Long-lasting. We enjoy that we can either carry them or hang them when camping. The brightness is perfect. I love that you can adjust the brightness to see when needed or when you want a relaxing ambiance, and you can have the flame on. I use a lot. Our twins also love them and use them every day. I will be ordering more.

Nice little small and lightweight lanterns put out a moderate amount of light. The dual lighting modes are a nice feature. I bought these to use as emergency lamps since my area is prone to thunderstorms and occasional blackouts. Should be cood for casual campers/hikers. Unlike some listings for similar lanterns, this set does not come with batteries.

We just came back from a camping trip and used our new lanterns! They were awesome! There is 2 features, the flame one and a white LED one. We used the flame one mostly. They gave off a cozy golden light. The LED function we used to look for things in the dark or walk around in the dark and they light up the paths pretty good. We used headlamps also for extra lighting and to go hands free. The lanterns came in real handy for the restrooms because you can hang them on the hooks since some restrooms do not have electricity when camping! Not sure how long the battery life is yet, but I’m really happy with my purchase.

I’ve had mine for about 3 years, using it as a night light for bathroom trips while trying to avoid stepping on 3 dogs that find the carpet around my bed irresistible for their sleep time. My little niece and nephew visited and loved them while camping in the living room, making tents out of all the throws they could find. One light is very bright, but can be adjusted by how much you raise the top. The other light gives a gentle glow of a campfire. That’s the one that the kids loved! When I showed them the two different lights, they screamed, “FIRE”, in utter joyful bliss! (They are 2 &4) when they got home, I sent them a gift of these lanterns and reports from the camping “front lines”…… they love them and sleep with them in case of a mid night expedition to the bathroom. The batteries last a long time. You can’t go wrong with these for you, or for littl explorers and campers that you know.

Love these lights. I have placed one on each bed night stand. Work great in storms and when electric goes out. Lights are very bright, very light to carry around, not real big
