Great
In all honestly I didn't expect a great deal of quality when I ordered this due to it being so cheap but I only needed it to help a mate out pruning in his garden. I was really quite surprised when it arrived. It is superb quality with really sharp pointed teeth it works really well on larger branches. Hopefully it will stand the test of time but early indications are anything to go by it will.

Not for those with
arthritic hands or those with dexterity problems. Mine arrived but looked as if it had been out of its packing previously, so maybe a returned item, however the item seems in perfect order. This is hand sized i.e. when folded can go in your pocket. The reason I have given this three stars only is due to the safety aspect. Yes it is securely locked when folded, which is a plus factor. However, I have extreme difficulty in undoing the blade to be able to use it, without either cutting my fingers or evern snapping closed the blade over my finger, which could cut it off. It takes me a few minutes to get it open, and now I wear thick gloves as a precaution. It seems cackhanded the way you have to press and open, and there are no instructions as to how this is easily done safely. The teeth on it are quite long, and I use it using a draw action as opposed to sawing back and forth.Update : Two years on, strangely I have received a number of emails from several different people purporting to be the Sellers of this product asking me to remove my post by visiting Amazon links stating they will refund me 11.00 if I do so, the last person offered 26.00 to remove my review. Since I go by other people's reviews before purchasing I expect any reviews to be honest, whether good or bad. Thus when I review something I say exactly how I found an item. As there are many people whom have dexterity problems, and as one such, I am of the view that people need to be aware of any potential problems from a safety angle. Whether or not these 'requests' from the 'Seller' are authentic as opposed to a scam, my reaction is that if the Seller was unhappy with my review why did they not contact me at the time, instead of two years later. Frankly, I am dubious but in any event remain true to my original post. As an author selling Kindle/paperbacks on Amazon, authors are not allowed to have star ratings removed and neither can friends or family make reviews. One has to accept 1 star reviews from people who attempt to kill your novel, as one did of one of mine. A whole years work for nothing as a 1star killed that particular novel.

Worst Saw Around - DO NOT BUY!!!
This is a budget saw and I didn't expect the world. However, I did expect to be able to cut branches with it. The shape of the handle is not good and the saw extends fully to further decrease comfort - a slight fold angle would be much better. Anyway, I could live with the shape and grip but not the blade! It looks ferocious with lovely teeth but it is totally and utterly blunt and useless. I could cut more with a plasticine knife! It took me nearly 5 minutes to get through the first branch and its was only 5 centimetres across. It was a general softwood branch - not ebony or mahogany tough. The saw simply is not fit for purpose so save your money and don't even consider buying it -it doesn't work!

Terrible- worse than a butter knife
Absolutely the worst piece of junk. Could not cut a small thing branch. Do not buy. Cheap, nasty, terrible quality. Fuming with the quality. Not work 99 p. Total rip off. Sending it back. Not fit for purpose in any way.

Great for any cutting job in garden
Great little saw, got through large trucks, branches and small 1s. Im 5'5,10 stone no upper body strength but it made light work of my 20yo shrub. So easy to use, if you let the saw do the cutting. Surprised about the bad reviews, guess a bad workman blames his tools......
