An Intriguing Look Into A Unique Worldview
When a brave soul finally musters the courage to come out of the closet and openly say, “I believe the Earth is flat”, they either get mockery or anger as a response. The backlash is instant and often severe.Few people stop to ask the question “Why would someone really be convinced of this? What makes a person turn their back on what we all know to be true and then stick with it?”It’s not often someone rolls out of bed one morning and decides to believe something that will destroy friendships and make themselves a lonely laughingstock. There are reasons to adopt this philosophy and the modern pioneers reviving it have a strange and fascinating tale to tell. From the heart-breaking story of a lovely former radio announcer experiencing bullying on a scale most of us wouldn’t dream of to an average middle-American couple who were taught an unusual science class in high school that changed their lives, this book weaves the tale of a handful of unusual thinkers and their lives as a backdrop to understanding what mockery fails to grasp: the unexpected discoveries that form the flat Earth movement now exploding into the light.

Profound and nonthreatening access to more than a glimpse into Creation controversy.
Something anyone can get information on this topic with a friendly, real insight. HIGHLY recommending this book to as many as I can. Flat Earth or not....this is a GREAT read. Hadley has a way with words and these stories all connecting the way they do is fascinating, intriguing and genuine. Definitely 'unexpected'....LOVING it! On page 325 ATM and had to stop to write this review.

Excellent compilation of interviews.
Via independent research and experimentation, millions of everyday people have come to the knowledge that our world is level, stationary and covered by the Firmament. In this wonderful narrative, Noel Hadley shares with us the winding and sometimes DANGEROUS paths that some flat earthists have traversed in their search for truth, as well as his own journey that ultimately led him down the proverbial "rabbit hole" to the final resting place of the globe model. Whether you have done the research or are just learning about this incredible topic for the first time, The Unexpected Cosmology is a must have for your bookshelf, coffee table or night stand. Share in the amazing stories of those who have gone before, and discover new insights about the massive structure we live in.We are ALL "flat earthists". Some of us just don't know it yet.Great book! (I can't wait for Part Two.)
