Versatile for the trucker and traveler
This is a mobile printer that I use for my business. I'm an owner operator truck driver. This stores well in a cabinet in my truck. I set it up on the bed and it prints quick and beautifully. I have not had issues with paper jams, even when I'm scanning paper that just dried or got crumpled. On some occasions, you have to feed one page at a time for scanning, but that has to do with the condition of the paper. It's low capacity, so you can only feed about 15 pages at a time for scanning or printing. With the HP printing program, you can make one big file with 100+ pages, I've done it. The only issue I have is that it does not connect well with my notebook, but I can't blame this on the printer, the notebook is probably 5-8 years old. Setup is easy for wifi, I connect it to my hotspot or the notebook directly to the printer in certain instances.

Amazing - Print on the Go: HP OfficeJet 250 - All-in-One Portable Printer "Wireless"
I recently purchased the HP OfficeJet 250 - All-in-One Portable Printer and I have to say, it has made my life so much easier. As someone who is always on-the-go, the ability to print from both my phone and laptop has been a game changer. Setting up the printer was a breeze, thanks to its wireless and mobile printing capabilities. This feature allows me to seamlessly print from my phone or laptop without having to connect any cords or wires. Plus, the printer's compact size makes it extremely portable, making it perfect for travel or taking to meetings. The quality of prints is also impressive. The colors are vibrant and the text is crisp, just like any traditional printer. I am able to print documents, photos, and even scan important files all in one device. One of my favorite features of this printer is its long battery life. I can easily print multiple pages without having to worry about constantly charging it. This has saved me so much time and frustration. Overall, I highly recommend the HP OfficeJet 250 - All-in-One Portable Printer for anyone who needs a reliable and convenient printing solution. It truly lives up to its name as "Print on the Go." Amazing product!

The best printer I have ever owned!
I have had this printer for 8 years, and it is still going strong. The print quality is amazing, and the cartridges seem to last a decent amount of time. I love that I can tuck this printer away so it is not sitting out on a counter. I have a carrying case, so it is easy to transport. I highly recommend this printer to anyone!

HP has horrible, terrible, non-existent tech support.
Bought this printer because my sister has the exact same one and it works great. Setup was a breeze. I love that you can print from any device wirelessly as long as you are on the same network (phone, laptop, ipad...whatever). So the printer is fantastic. However, HP is worthless. Actually less than worthless. Turns out there are two (maybe three) Officejet 250 printers for your computer to discover when you hit 'Print' and for whatever reason the default is the one that is not on the network so the printer shows as offline no matter what troubleshooting you do. I spent HOURS trying to figure this out because it comes up nowhere in the installation documentation or in their online support (which is apparently the only option they have). HP virtual assistant was no help, their native troubleshooting software found nothing and when I finally was able an track down an HP support number (had to Google it b/c it is nowhere on the website) to talk to someone the line got mysteriously disconnected after being directed to the correct department and I'd been on hold for 15 minutes and when I called back I got stuck in the voice directory loop and it wouldn't register anything I said. Nice work HP. You suck. I was finally able to resolve the issue when I went on my Amazon page to return this $300 doorstop. There is an option for Amazon tech support. So I gave it a shot. This guy was so patient and helpful even though I was beyond frustrated and kind of taking it out on him at first. But after an hour on the phone we figured it out! And I am so grateful. Thank you Amazon! Julen was my Amazon tech support guy. He is not an HP employee and had no idea where to start helping resolve this issue but he stuck it out on the phone with me for an hour until we figured it out. He also struggled to find information on the HP site and in the online documentation. So please make no mistake, if this rating was based on the product and company that made it, I would give it zero stars. This 5 star review is for Amazon only. Bezos, maybe consider buying HP and straighten them out.

Started off as 5 stars but now is a 1 star.
5 STARS ***** Could not ask for anything more. Does everything you need in such a compact package, and it does it well. I learned the hard way to just "bite the bullet" and always use HP ink to dodge any generic ink problems. works very well with my Mac and Android UPDATE 4/18/25 1 Star * WiFi stopped working, could not resolve issue after spending hours on chat and phone with HP. HP could not get remote screen sharing working properly on my computer to "verify" the problem, so HP said they would elevate issue to supervisor level. They gave me a case #, and said I would get a call; but I haven't heard a peep from HP. Went to Best Buy Geek Squad and they found the WiFi defective and said to contact HP for replacement because it was still under HP warranty. ...... A Catch 22 circular failure. What do you do with a HP case number if you can't contact anyone but a tech that just wants to start over troubleshooting again! A frustrating mess. If you don't ever have a problem with your HP printer ( as I went years with no problems with a variety of HP printer) you are in bliss! If you have an issue that needs the support of HP, your impression could change drastically if your technical connection with them doesn't work up to par.

Great printer/scanner
Had issues setting up, had to download a troubleshooter from the website. Once I got it going it works great. Love the ability to immediately print a picture or pdf from my phone. The set up is the only reason I gave it a 4 out of 5. Updated reveiw: Still a great printer, i take it to work in my workvan, prints fast, battery lasts (I charge it once a week), can print from phone or computer. Had to scan a document into my computer for the first time today and it took me a few minutes but still did a great job. Still trying to figure out to scan and send via email from the printer, keeps saying theirs an error but all i do to fix that is scan it into computer and send to email that way. One thing i would change is just the overall construction, since it is a mobile printer it should be alot more durable. Maybe if anything that uses a hinge should be aluminum construct like the back of paper tray or scanning tray. Maybe incorporate rubber on the corners, for guys who take the printers in work vans for invoicing like me. Also ink is very expensive but still worth it, I would personally pay another $100 for the durablity I stated above. Overall great printer!

Good printer just dont have to buy replacement ink
Great HP color printer. Picked up a protective case and it travels really well. Unfortunately it has the same problems I have always found with HP, hard to set up wireless printing (appears to be the spooler) and HP replacement ink is more expensive than gold or saffron. I dont know how HP continues to get away with it. I don't know why they never have a class action or a congressional investigation for price fixing and software that will disable your printer if you use knock off ink at about 1/10 the price. Just so unfair. But! it is a great ptinter.

Works great, takes up only a little space. Best little printer!
I love this printer. I 1st bought it to print shipping labels and an occasional bill, however I have come to love it, and kept it for use in my small office. We do have a bigger printer in the reception office I can print to if I have a very large print job. I have used it in the car and in the hotel, but mostly it stays in my small office. It is very convenient and can be easily moved to another room if doing a something that requires printing somewhere besides office. If you need a small printer at your house for occasional printing or school work, but don't want they eyesore of a big printer, this is for you! It can even be stored in a drawer or cupboard, and taken out for use, then stored again Pros: 1.Very small - fits nicely in my small office. (I bought an insulated 9X13 cake pan carrier to put it in when traveling) 2.Can print from phone as well as computer 3.Battery if no electricity available 4.Good print quality 5.Fairly fast - not as quick as our main office printer, but definately faster than other printers I've had 6. Quiet 7. Can make copies 8. Prints 2-sided (extra step required) Cons: 1. Nothing to catch papers after they print (this is the ONLY thing about the design that I really wish was changed. 2. Occassionally my phone thinks the printer isn't available when indeed it is. I have never used the scan feature, so I cannot comment on that.

A great buy! Useful and small and so far solid
We live in a small condo, so can’t have a larger printer just taking up space. This small printer is solidly built, meant to be stowed to be on the road (I sprung for a carrying case - it cost just over a hundred, but also really well made), and it works really well in such small living quarters. Just printed up everything I needed for my corporate taxes, and everything printed up really well! A couple weeks ago I scanned in a tax document, got it sent to my email, pdf’d all nice and neat... I’m really enjoying this handy thing. I have not printed any photos, but for printing documents and scanning, this has done really well. This printer has only been with us for a month, so I may come back to update, but so far, it’s a great product.
