Better Than I Remember!
I was a huge fan of Metropolis Street Racer on Dreamcast, so of course I loved Project Gotham Racing games on Xbox. I played them so much I got burned out on PGR4, so I traded it for a PS3 game. I've spent the last few years playing the death out of Gran Turismo 5 and Forza Motorsport 4. I found PGR4 on here brand new for only $4, and said it'd be fun to revisit an old favorite.Wow! This game is BEAUTIFUL! The graphics are so vibrant and its an excellent artistic design all around. The city atmosphere is a welcome change from the sterile tracks in these new race sims. Sure, these environments don't have the same level of realism, but its more vivid and pretty. This game is eye candy!PGR4 has a pretty decent selection of Licensed cars from the big manufacturers. These include Ford, Chevy, Ferrari, Lamborghini, BMW, Lotus, Aston-Martin, RUF (Porsche), Toyota, and the list goes on! The driving physics are an arcade/sim blend. Its more about having fun, so its not as brutal as Forza or GT. Although AI can be brutal sometimes. But you can adjust the difficulty. The races and challenges are a ton of fun to me, especially now that I use a Fanatec CSR wheel, as opposed to a controller! The Kudos scoring system, which gives bonus points for driving stunts, has been scaled back from earlier PGR games. Motorcycles are included but I could care less. The game is, as always, jam packed with great music. This is just a great early-generation Xbox360 game!

PGR4
PGR4 is the best in the series so far, I was expecting the graphics on the cars to be a little bit better, but the environments are where the graphics really shine. Cities like New York, are amazingly detailed and accurate in the placement of buildings such as city hall and the peter cooper village. And shanghai shows in great detail the "Bund" area as well as the side streets that show real life small buildings that you would think a game developer would not care to add.One of the few problems that I have with the game is that when you are racing with a motorcycle it is very easy to blow through the game quickly. The motorcycles can take corners much quicker then the cars and it creates an unfair advantage and usually creates a huge lead by the first lap pretty much eliminating the competition. The career mode is very fun and makes you want to continually advance and get new cars or bikes to get the edge against the other races, but he way you buy cars though is a little strange now. The game forces you to buy bundles, which I don't really like. But regardless of a few small qualms with the game it is overall a very fun experience and worth the low price that you can find it here. Definitely a recommended title for racing fans or people looking to try a new game.

Fun for a older Racing game.
Just got this game a couple days ago in the mail. This is my first PGR game and I find it to be so much fun. I've been playing online with my friend as well as playing in singleplayer mode. The graphics are better than I thought they were going to be. The music list is pretty good. A different genre for every person. Some of the races in single player are a bit challenging. Which is great. I love the different areas that you can race in as well as the numerous cars and bikes to choose from. I also love that you can choose the difficulty of the single player races. Whether career mode, arcade mode..The only thing I don't like is the "ghosting" every time you get close to another players car. Not sure if there's a way to disable that. Other than that, this game is fun.

probably the last Project Gotham we'll see...
I don't know what Bizarre Creations is gonna be doing from now on.but i still think their PGR series that started back in the Dreamcast days with Metropolis Street Raceris probably ending with this title and they did it right. This version of the game reminds you of the first PGR for the original Xboxin its fluidity and pick-up&play style. the graphics are amazing for Xbox 360 standards. only thing I'm kinda missing is the music selection.this game used to be known for its great music stations that you had while driving.but all in all, it's a great half-sim/half-arcade racer that takes you around the world and does it all amazingly well.if you like driving games, you ought yourself to try this one! won't be dissapointed.
