Review: So far, so great. - My Mr. Coffee went kaputt a few weeks ago. It just kept powering off, wouldn’t stay on any longer. I originally bought a different coffee pot but it was too cheaply made and not worth saving a few bucks for. I like my traditional grounds coffee and how I make it at home is my favorite way. I drink a cup every morning so having a coffee pot that will hold up matters. I returned it and ordered this Black & Decker. So far I’m very happy with it. It’s sturdy. It seems well-made. There are no leaks and it brews my espresso grounds rather quickly. It’s digital, and you can program it. I can set it for the morning, and it’s ready when I wake up. Makes great tasting coffee. So far, I’ve had it almost a month, and I’m extremely happy with it. Brews up to12 cups and cleans easily, although it doesn’t have a clean option. Keeps coffee nice and hot for about 2 hours, and then automatically shuts off. I have to say, I recommend this coffee pot..

A: Thank you for your question, Lol67. This coffee maker will work with a basket-style (flat-bottom) 8-12 cup coffee filter. The filter can be either paper or a permanent mesh.

**Q: Does this turn off auto after time I hate returning to pot to find cool coffee**
A: All you have to do is push the on off button to restart the two hour auto shut off feature. When I get a cup of coffee and it’s been about an hour since brewing I simply hit the button off / then on again to get an extra two hours. Repeat as often as needed.
