But won't fit aptly in a narrow sectioned hot pot
Great consistency of good-quality between individual scoops. Look good. Have only used once and washed in uppermost third tray of dishwasher once. Had to be used at an approx. 45-degree angle in the sectioned Aroma hot pot (with inner moat sectioned off from outer moat) because the "moats" are too narrow. Doable, but the primary hot pot chef didn't think it was an ideal situation. Would be much better in a big hot pot without sections or a hot pot that is sectioned differently, such as a divider down the middle. (I will consider purchasing the 2.5" smaller ones . . . )

Fondue party heaven!
I looked and looked for something like these. They were given out as 'party favors' at our annual family fondue party to be used to fish dropped meat and vegetables out of the fondue pots. The 2 minute timers were accepted but these were celebrated. Everybody, and i mean everybody, exclaimed THANKS and WHERE DID YOU GET THESE and DO WE GET TO KEEP THEM. I thought they were perfect for my purpose but all my children saw many uses for them every day. Who knew?

They work perfectly, just wish they would find something different to put on the ends of the handles because they love to come off and sometimes break apart

Good for hot pot meal.
We eat a lot of hot pot meal during winter time and the strainer is useful for picking shrimp ball or beef ball from the soup of the hot pot.
