Great litter: no tracking, renewable resource, flushable
We finally made the switch from the Cat Genie to regular litter and after extensive research, we settled on World's Best in the Lavender scent. We have one cat. She is a spayed female, 3 years old, and about 9 pounds. I scoop twice daily and change the box weekly with about 3 inches of litter in it. While I had never purchased litters for my cat at home, I have pet-sat and scooped many litter boxes with all sorts of litters. Pros: - Practically no tracking at all. She is a shorthair, however. A longhair cat may just track everything everywhere. We have the litter box on a rug which catches any residual litter from our kitty's paws. I never find it on her beds like I did with the Cat Genie litter. I am on my second 28 pound bag after switching from the Cat Genie. - Smells great. I only notice a bad smell if my cat has just taken a dump, which is obviously going to be the case with any litter. I literally never smell pee. But I do scoop no less than twice a day. Not sure how it'd be with more cats/scooping less frequently. - Totally flushable, but a big pee should be broken up into two pieces before chucking it in the toilet. We had a few close calls which required emergency plunging. - Pretty good clumping. By the end of the week, though, there's little pee-flakes that are too small for the scoop. Cons: - VERY dusty, but only when I pour for a new box. Like, I have to lock my cat out of the room 'cuz she has upper respiratory issues that I'm afraid will become irritated if she's around for new-litter time. The dust is not a problem after pouring. - My cat does not use the box for a whole day after I change it. The lavender smell is quite strong for that first day, which I think has something to do with it. I think I will buy an unscented litter next time. I still went 5-stars because this litter is made from a renewable resource, corn, but is just as absorbent as clay litters. It's also flushable. And I'm not kidding when I say no tracking. Just stick a little rug in front of the box and you won't have litter all over your house! Some say that it's bad to flush cat feces because cats can carry diseases like toxoplasmosis that can be transmitted to humans via poop. If you're going to flush your cats' waste, be sure they get their poop screened by a vet at least once a year so you know you're not spreading their cooties :-)

Great cat litter over all - Tracking less noticeable, easy to vacuum and Roomba, lasts a long time, great odor protection
5 most important things for me on cat littler: 1) tracking, 2) effective clumping, 3) effective with odor, 4) dust, 5) price Tracking - This litter is soft in nature, so while there is probably just as much tracking as when I used he clay based Precious Cat Ultra Scoopable Litter, stepping the World's Best Cat Litter isn't cringe worthy because it's not hard or sharp, and so not as noticeable. Another huge improvement over clay and crystal litter is that I run a Roomba every day and use an upright vacuum weekly and this litter sweeps into both MUCH better than the clay and cystrals because it's lighter and easier to lift up into the bristles and from the vacuum. Clumping - Not as much clumping as previous litter, but 1) never gums up on the bottom of the litter pan, 2) doesn't break up too easily either, so I am pretty happy with the level of clumping here. Effective with odor - I use this with the ModKat litterbox, I scoop every 2-4 days, I add in Arm & Hammer litter deodorizer, and I run an air and odor filter 24/7. The combo of all of these means you cannot smell any of the litter or contents unless you are right above the ModKat opening, but I don't know if it's because of this litter or the other variables. I only notice the lavender scent when I add in new litter. It's not strongly lavender and it's sort of a non-issue to me. Dust - Still dusty. I would say it's only 25-50% as dusty as normal clay. I suggest wearing a face mask for people who are dust-sensitive. Price - This is more expensive than the Precious Cat that I was using. But on all the items above, it was much better than Precious Cat, and I find that I need to replace the World's Best Cat Litter much less than Precious Cat because it is more long-lasting and effective in odor control. That being said, I think this bag lasts as long as a larger World's Best Cat Litter so the cost difference is negligible. I think this is a wonderful cat litter. Not the best in every area, but altogether a wonderful product I will continue to use as my only litter from now on.

... Tidy Cat and other scoopable cat litters and World's Best Cat Litter is by far better and exceeds my ...
I have used Tidy Cat and other scoopable cat litters and World's Best Cat Litter is by far better and exceeds my expectations for the following reasons: 1. Great clumping; it doesn't fall apart while scooping nor does it leave residual dirty pieces; 2. As far as odor control (compared to others), I give it a B+ - A-. While there is odor control, if you don't scoop regularly there is some odor. Compared to other brand scoopables, this is the BEST (hence the name :-). To resolve it, I add a little cat box freshner after scooping. 3. It's all natural (environmental friendly) and breaks down easily especially if I sprinkle it in the garden (only for flowers that require acidic soil). Also, it can be flushed down the toilet. While I have done this (#2 only if you know what I mean), I don't do this on a regular basis. I live in an older home with older plumbing and I can't confirm its flushability associated with potential plumbing issues. 4. To keep cost down, I buy from Amazon. I would recommend this product for serious cat owners with multiple cats that want to keep odor control down and be environmentally friendly..

Speaking about convenient its one of the most best selling points I could give you on
I'm not going to go out of my way to write all this unless the product means something to me... I have 9 cats and if it wasn't for dumpster diving into petco I would not have tried this litter. Now and forever I dont see myself ever using anything else. Speaking about convenient its one of the most best selling points I could give you on. I have two closed lid and an open box, litters. The hooded have a catit charcoal filter for my catit jumbo box and I also give them grain free( call of the wild). Theres no smell in my house once someone goes and if its too overwhelming scent from a visit, I have a small hepa filter that clears the air in 10 min. Theres no smell for me other than the open lid and that source dissipates cause the litter is really absorbent. And boyyyyy does it last. I usually get rid of it by 2 weeks but theres been a time I had to go for 3 weeks and it made it close to a month on one 28 pound bag. That was an experiment done from a tight budget and i was surprised how long it held up before it had to be thrown out for sure. I've tried husk litter from diving as well and didn't like it for my pack. if I had a choice I would choose the green bag not the red or lavender cause the green one is not processed like the other two and it seems to have absorbed and lasted longer than all of them, within the 2 week time frame. I only buy the lavender one for the price and smell. If this smells really bad maybe you shouldn't be giving your cat Purina or corn in their diet. clean deposits leave hardly any smell and that's without the filter on. Does it have dust? yes but the same you would find on the face of a woman with foundation. meaning its not going to be airborne but it will leave their paws lightly powdered. If you want something that is dust free try Walnut Husk Litters. Much more absorbent than the Newspaper/Recycled Paper Litters, but Husk Litters arent as long lasting as this litter. The walnut husk I could recommend for someone that wants 'dust-free' and has 2 cats maximum as preference for that product is more to the benefit of the owner rather than the pet. As for me with this product, its a night and day experience when dealing with 3 litters of clay and the dust that picks up from me scooping compared this product. I don't have to put my shirt over my face from the dust, while I clean. THAT made me a forever customer the minute as well as the smell is pleasant(for me the smell lasts close to a week before it balances out.) Basically the lavender and the green bag is the best litter Ive ever tried and save from letting your cat go in your backyard, its the best litter in the world. Not paid or sponsored. qualifications? 9 cats. SideNote. Litter companies save the good stuff for the small bags and for retail stores but for bulk like amazon sometimes the bottom of the "sillo" or their holding pen has the bottom settlements added. That's why I've noticed some people say its so dusty but it was like that for me with clay litters and I had to not get it from different sellers on Amazon cause the results are the same. Retail stores were always consistent with the level of dust on their large bags. That being said I have yet to have a 'bad' bag that was more dustier than other ones with this company. All the bags have been consistent. This is from personal experiences stemming from the ripped bags gotten during the petco diving's and the ones bought from Amazon.

World's Best Cat Litter is a very good name for this!
I have 3 cats, and have tried A LOT of different cat litters (clay, newspaper-pellet, corn, pine, etc). So far, this is the best one I have tried, and hands-down better than other corn-based litters. I thought the name was rather egotistical when I first tried it, but now I must say that it is a very fitting name! To those who complained about poor clumping - are you putting enough litter in the box? This particular litter seems to work the best with a very thick layer of litter - 3-4" deep. The only times I have had clumps break apart are when I either didn't put enough litter in there, so it got over-saturated, or if I missed doing it for a day, and again the quantity of urine just over-saturated it. If you keep it clean with a good deep layer of litter, I have been amazed at how solid the clumps are. Perfect urine-spheres that come out of the box in one piece (sounds weird, but cat people know how amazing that is!). Seriously, 2-3" spheres, completely self-contained. In fact, it clumps so well that I hardly ever have to do a full litter change. I wanted to use this for a while before reviewing; I just finished my 3rd huge bag. They last right about a month per bag with 3 cats (pretty good I think), and I've only done the full change-out once! And that was after a week with a cat sitter, so I'm guessing it just wasn't done as diligently as I do it. I used to have to do it every week with other litters, because they got icky and stinky so fast! I think it is because all of the urine is removed - you don't get the little shattered-clumps that are too small to scoop out. The litter tracking outside the box is considerably diminished too, which is important to me. Nothing worse than walking barefoot over a tile floor and stepping on little tiny litter-bits - Eew! The lavender scent is actually quite nice as well. Not a perfumey-smell, but it seems to counterbalance the kitty box odors very well. I've had many people comment how they can't even smell the "cat smell" in my house, which is a serious complement when you have 3! The only thing that would make this better would be Subscribe & Save, but it is worth clicking the button once a month for it to show up at my house :-) Prices on Amazon are also better than any local retail, as usual.

Litter so great I took the time to write a review about it.
This stuff is the best. Not kidding. It is so far superior to other clumping litters I can't even believe it. But, you really want the scented version of your new to cat boxes. We picked up two kittens at the animal shelter and bought regular clumping litter. It was a mess and it stunk and it stunk. Did I say that already? We bought Worlds Best, but not the scented and I really didn't like the smell. It's corn based, so maybe it's a corn smell, but that mixed with kitten poop was not good. better than the regular clumping litter, I was compelled to clean the box every time they used it. However the process of cleaning was so much better that regular litter. The clumps are easy to find, they don't break apart much and the urine doesn't go straight to the bottom like a lot of litters, leaving you scraping litter soaked with urine off the walls and bottom. It's light, fluffy and seems to be a nice experience for the kittens. When I bought the scented litter everything changed for the better! The lavender is awesome. I can live happily in my home again. I don't smell their every trip to the box now and I don't mind cleaning it every morning. I add a bit of new litter every four to five days and you don't ever have to dump it completely. I feel much better about the impact to the environment and the health of my kittens. Yes, price is higher than some, but so incredibly worth every penny on Amazon. I bet you save money in the long run never having to dump it completely. It is about five dollar savings on Amazon prime over the pet store price. I highly recommend this product. It really is the Worlds Best Cat Litter.

Our Favorite Litter
I've had cats all my life and am picky about ensuring that my house doesn't smell like cats. World's Best Litter is the only litter I am willing to use. I keep 2 open boxes for 3 cats (one on each floor); both are in the bathroom next to the toilet. This litter is fairly low dust (not none but not like so many of the other brands) and most important of all is flushable. It clumps well & controls odors decently too. I'm SUPER picky about smells though so i empty the boxes often ( about 1x daily - unless I'm super busy, sick, or out of town) which takes but a moment because of the good clumping & the flushable. I never clean the whole box (literally haven't done it once since I switched to worlds best many years ago). This is a low fuss and low mess as it can get in my opinion. I also never worry about having friends or family stop by because it is never a kitty smelling house (Obviously not a concern during covid - but would have been a concern before and hopefully again soon).

Honest review.
I waited two months of use to write this review. It is to be noted that I have a mat specifically for catching dust and litter on the paws of my 2 cats (one is 4 years old and the other is 1 years old) +Pros * Clumps instantly * There is a slight fragrant smell * Little lasts quite a while - Cons * While the litter does clump instantly, unless its a huge clump it also breaks apart easily. * The slight fragrant smell while decent doesn't mask anything and in long term irritates the sinus. In my experience this litter is actually weak as far as covering that cat smell. (Multiple people who have been around it have said so along with me) * DUST. SO MUCH DUST. I honestly have no idea what these people are talking about when they say there is no dust however there is plenty. You can see how the powder like litter is going to be a problem the moment you pour it. I have a few furniture pieces that are black and you can see the litter paw prints every here and there. This litter WILL stick to their paws and they will take that litter box dust everywhere. * Expensive. For the price I'd expect something much better than this. My cats did not show a like or dislike for the product..to them it was their litter-box and it was just something new to cover their poop. I gave 3 stars because it does last a good while.

Great clumping and smell absorption
Love it! Great clumping and easy to clean. Because the litter is small pieces there is less tracking through the house as it drops out of my cats paws/fur before they get too far. I get the scented version as I have 3 cats and I find it absorbs litter smells well.

Highly recommended
Safe for my kitties, clumps well for easy scooping and lavender scented is gentle on their noses... Also great in masking odors.

Me sorprendió

Litterbox no longer smells like shreks swamp
Clumps great, doesn't tread, and the litterbox no longer smells horrendous after the little gremlins do their business. What else could you want in a cat litter!
