There is no mess to clean up. They don't leak or cause issues. Easy to open and fill. No grounds found in the coffee after use. It clicks down securely. I almost thought I broke it the first time I used it. It snapped down hard, but all was good. I fill it 3/4 full and it makes a nice cup of coffee.
