It’s lightweight, easy to use, and great for quick touch-ups around the yard.I’ve attached two videos because seeing is believing. This thing absolutely prefers a certain “diet.” Give it dense, stiff shrubs, and it’ll happily chew right through them. Give it soft, leafy bushes with long stems, and it suddenly decides it’s a hairstylist instead of a trimmer. Rather than cutting, it gently lays the branches down like it’s tucking them in for a nap.I’m guessing it’s because the blades reciprocate a little slower than more expensive models, so it doesn’t have the speed to slice through softer growth on the first pass. A second or third pass usually does the trick.The videos show both its strengths and its “let me think about this branch for a minute” moments.Overall, I have zero regrets. It punches above its price point, just don’t expect it to audition for the landscaping Olympics.
