nice and bright - like the original.
Got them installed at my local repair shop - 4 headlights for $60. The dealership wanted nearly $400 for installing 1 (including the bulb!)Headlamp is bright as the original ones I replaced after 10 years. I don't know if these will last that long. I don't know if I will have the car that long either. But I hope not to have to purchase them again.

... out that my failed light was due to a bad control module
It turned out that my failed light was due to a bad control module. Once that as replaced, it was nice to have two functioning lights with greatly increased brightness. Over 14 years of use, I forgot how much better HID bulbs illuminate the road. The original lights had gradually dimmed to the point that standard halogen bulbs appeared brighter.

DO NOT BUY if you intended to replace the factory bulbs and have the same intensity bulb. No way
i thought i did my due diligence, read the reviews, watched videos, etc. had them professionally installed. Very scary driving at night, especially at 70 years old.

Matches factory HID on Lexus ES300
Installed in a 2003 Lexus ES300 with factory HID lights, and of course it was the left one, the hardest to access. The metal retainer clips were impossible to insure they were clipped correctly. Installed a couple of weeks ago, it has performed as expected.

Super bright
How did I ever see at night before these?

Never worked
The bulb has two "nubs" that need to be gripped by the "starter" connection. Both of these broke off making the bulb virtually useless. Ideally, I'd like to return it, but I bought it to install on my daughter's car while she was home for Christmas and ordered it while she was home for Thanksgiving. Maybe someone at the seller will let me return. I'll let you know if they do.
