I ordered these along with the adapter plate. I converted a full bed to a queen. I had to buy a queen frame because the one I was using only had hooks, it is a very old frame. I only needed to use the hooks and my frame hooked to the headboard. Instructions would have been nice, I improvised and got back on my amazon site and looked at the product pictures and was able to figure it out.

This took awhile to assemble and attach the headboard. It doesn’t hold it securely enough for me to feel comfortable resting on it. The headboard swats when we move around

It looks like it would do the job, but I purchased it in error for my family. The headboard purchased separately came with it's own mounting hardware. I am keeping it for now, then donate it to charity.

The plate, hook and screws are sturdy and well made. I attached a western king headboard to a CA king frame. The headboard has a slight movement, but it’s so much better than leaning it against the wall!
