Great little rings. Hold my 13 promax well. Wish there were more for price.
Pros:Great thickness. Proper powder coat, not cheap paint on the rings. High number of magnets on the underside. Real 3M adhesive on the rings.Cons: only 2, which means expensive compared to other rings. Do not stick to each other well. The magnets are polarized so can’t be used to stick your phone to the dash or wall. Not repositionable. Once they’re on something they’re there. Looks like if the adhesive were removed it would expose the magnets to falling out.All in all I’m happy with it, though I won’t pay the extra just for gold coating again. I’m edging away from a clear case showing my phone anyways. Theft is a constant concern when your brand is so visible. But they are well made, not too thick, and I can hold my phone out by the MagSafe grip and shake it like I’m tryin to break it, and it holds except under the strongest flings. I think that’s ANY magnet tho (unless u want one strong enough to break your phones GPS)WORD OF WARNING! DO NOT STICK RINGS WITH MAGNETS DIRECTLY TO YOUR IPHONE!!! The apple website itself states that OEM “magsafe compatible” are sometimes too strong and can disable your magnetic svcs(which means GPS, and that expensive camera’s image stabilization/location stuff. Among other expensive iPhone parts) to be safe try to only use branded MagSafe, Apple, or only put magnets on the OUTSIDE of the CASE ONLY.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!
I have a VERY strong car magnet phone holder. Anything sticks to it, anything except this crappy "magnet" that is. It doesn't even come close to being able to hold my phone. Wanna know what did? The $1.99 I bought when this ten dollar one wouldn't. WASTE OF MONEY.

works as advertised
if you are using this on a magsafe compatible iphone the installation is easy you just let the magnets find the coils. others wise i suggest ignore the instructions and go find a internal picture of whatever phone you are putting it on and go from there. DO NOT PUT THIS ON the phone itself. It is very hard to remove. this is a 1 time stick if you screw up it's game over.

Technically works as advertised, but....
Works well enough and holds just strong enough to use in a vehicle magsafe dash mount.Unfortunately, compared to the basic cheap plain metal versions, the performance is actually worse. The basic non-magnetic ring style, also sold here, is literally half the thickness, and has a stronger magnetic couple to a magsafe charger. Additionally the reduced thickness will promote faster charging. And yes, I had the magnetic ring in the correct orientation.

Magnet not as strong as I expected.
Mag-safe accessories only works as long as the magnet keeps them in position. Unfortunately using this magnet on a regular case does not substitute for a real mag-safe case. I compared them using wallet, pop socket base, car vent mount, charging pad.

Works great with magsafe charger
Added to the back of otterbox clear case and works great with magsafe charger.

Works for any Qi enabled phone
I see a lot of reviews discussing the use of non-Magsafe cases for the iPhone 12 series. But I just want to point out that wireless charging has been available since iPhone X. I used these rings to convert my secondary iPhone X to be compatible with my Magsafe chargers and accessories (e.g. the excellent Moment tripod mounts, etc.).
