I bought this as a gift for my son and daughter in law, they drink a lot of tea, and have been wanting to get a nice authentic Japanese tea set, so I got this for them as one of their gifts for Xmas, and they absolute love it. Tea set was packaged great, I was worried about getting a broken set, but it was packaged extremely well.

The teapot and cups themselves look very nice. The teapot itself is quite small, not sure you could fill the 4 cups from it. Returning it because one of the 4 cups arrived broken. One last note, the "decorative box" is basically a glorified shoe box with some dividers in it.

I love this tea set. I've been looking for a set that I could enjoy off and on for over 25 years when I found this set.

The first order arrived with a broken cup. I think the box it comes in isn't made for shipping. I returned the original and ordered another that came with no breakage.It's very attractive and appears well made. The mesh tea strainer that fits into the pot is a nice touch.I gave it 4 stars for having to send the first set back. Otherwise, I would give it 5.

The tea pot is very small. Otherwise, this is very lovely tea set.
