Spy Gear - Spy Go Action Camera

Going with low expectations for this kiddie "go pro" camera makes it a great toy. The camera works as described. Picture and sound quality for the videos are good enough, even better than some other Spy Gear products such as their camera that can peak around corners and their video walkie talkies (both of which have worked just fine for us). It is worth the price. Transfering video to your computer and charging the camera are easily done with the included USB cord. Our Windows desk top computer was able to connect with it right off without software or hardware trouble. My 9 year old son loves this and contrary to other reviews, it works just fine. If you are expecting the real Go Pro, put out the money for the adult product.

The kids loved having a camera to play with. They thought it was cool to have something to run around with that I wasn't yelling behind them not to break it, drop it, etc.First, we are a pretty tech savy family, but I had to get out the instructions to figure out that you hold down the photo button for awhile to get the camera to turn on. Not a big deal, but putting the words Power or On on the camera itself would have been helpful.Next we played with it in the house. First thing we noticed though is that there is no sound to know if you took a picture or light on the back to know if you are recording. This led to many pictures and videos of the floor and ceiling. Also in low light, it didn't do so well. The photos in a well lit room however were of decent quality and the kids had fun dancing and using the photo burst feature.The kids then took it outside. Again the photos, if they and the camera were relatively still were okay (good kid quality anyway!). The video, if the cameraman was moving though, suffered horribly from rolling shutter. It's difficult to watch and very wavy. Again though, we aren't trying to win any awards with the video and the kids thought it was fun to clip it to their scooters.We had no issues viewing photos and videos from the computer. Only thing that would have been better was if it could hook up to their tablets and get me out of the middle!I received this from BzzAgent for free in exchange for product trial and reviews. All in all it's a fun gadget for the kids to play with for the price, but know that the quality is kid quality photos/videos and the newness will wear off quickly.

Easy to set up and get going! Our son is 9 and able to manage it all by himself after the first help from us. It's pretty simple to operate and review on the computer, straight forward. Good price for it's quality. We bought this for our son, it is worth. We didn't want to buy too expensive camera since he is still young, this serve the purpose. He used for horse race, baseball game, riding bike , and playing in the backyard. It's easy to get charged. It's more than just a toy.

This product is a disappointment. The unit does not charge up. It does not turn on and when plugged in to charge not even the charge lights go on. The worst part is I threw away the packaging and box so I can't even ask amazon for a return. Terribly disappointed.

Wow! I wasn't expecting much, but I am very impressed with this. It is VERY easy to use, and for less than $16, the quality is not that bad at all! Audio is not great, but you can hear what people are saying....the video is not bad at all. My son loves it, and the price is great for the quality of product and ease of us. Highly recommend this for kids under 10.

My husband calls this a "cheap go-pro" and that's essentially what it is. It took a little bit to figure out all the buttons but there is a website that you can go to and watch videos that detail all of the usage of this camera. This is definitely a great camera for a young boy and I won't be sad if it gets broken because I could easily replace it. My son loves it and I think this is perfect for him to learn how cameras and video recordings work. The downside is he doesn't see the picture until it's uploaded to my computer so he doesn't really know for sure if his pictures or videos look good but he definitely enjoys it and takes it everywhere.

Very cheap looking, but my kids love it!! Easy to mount to their bikes and then transfer photos and videos to the computer. Kids had much fun with this

I purchased this for my son's room. It seems lime a good quality product, but the company sent me the wrong side panel, therefore the design in the middle doesn't line up. I hate the hassle of sending things back because I expect it to be correct when I purchase it...
