Even though it is mostly cosmetic and doesn't affect the sound quality, I expect a speaker that cost almost a grand and is made in USA would be better. The Speaker itself is amazing! Mine is setup in a Home Listening Room with Krell Amplifiers and Processor driving them, and Sonos Connect as the source. My plan was to use 2 18" Subs with a pair of B&W 7 Series . I am on hold until I decide if I want to chance buying another defected speaker. Review: Worth the extra money for LOW, LOUD & SOLID BASS - Ok let me start by saying that these subs are amazing loud, LOUD & DEEP SOLID bass. I had 2-18" Skar ZVX in my 2010 Tahoe with a 8k watt Rms Taramps MD amp pushing them. But these ZV.5 are night & day better. They move more air and hit lows sooooo good. These are the best sounding subs i ever heard period!!!!!!!!👍👍👍👍👍👍 i will admit they are overpriced but hell what isn't overpriced these days 🤷♂️ treat yourself 2 these bad boys. U will be very happy
