These are nice enough grip socks, but they're just *too loose*. On a patient with men's-size-12 feet (and pedal edema from calcium-channel blockers!), if you put them on bare feet, they pull right off the first time the patient pulls his feet out from under the covers. We're forced to put on pressure hose first, so the grip socks stay on for at least half a day without needing to be hiked up. And even so, they *still* come off all the way from time to time! In short, these are not "one size fits all"; they are "one size fits professional basketball players with cankles and size-16 feet and above."Other thoughts:• These are unfitted "tube socks" with no predefined heel, and they will rotate on the foot over time. Fair enough, but given that, the sticky grip material should have been applied around the *entire outer circumference* of the foot, not just on an imaginary top and an imaginary bottom. There is probably still enough grip material on the sides to do the job when the sock has rotated to the worst position (which it sometimes does), but the more grip coverage, the better, so it was a cheap move on the manufacturer's part.• The current design for this product *might* be salvageable if they used significantly more, and more tightly fitting, elastic material.• Because of our experience with these socks, I'm actually going to look for socks that also have a smaller amount of grip material on the *inside of the sock*. And if I can't find any, I'm going to look for *fitted* grip socks. And if I can't find any of those, I'm going to look for grip socks that come in an assortment of *discrete sizes*. I just want a grip sock that *stays on the foot*.Bottom Line: These grip socks probably work *great* for pro basketball players with cankles — but not for my size-12-foot dad!
