Okay, firstly, this light did not come with the mirror backing that it says on the instructions. Overall the light is amazing. Super easy to assemble, and super bright! It wasn't even on the full setting and this light gets bright! Which isn't a bad thing, I think its good. I just have to learn how to mess around with the proper settings for what I am using it for. All in all decent price and bang for your buck. So far I haven't had an issues with it. But then again, so far anything that Neewer makes is top notch quality, or so its been my experience with them. Everything I've ever purchased has been good quality. I'm sure they're a company that stands by their products and if anything were to happen, I don't doubt that they would be happy to help in whatever situation. Again I've had nothing but good experience with everything I've purchased. Now back to the light, the soft light I haven't used as of yet, but the snap on feature is pretty much straight forward. The LEDs are definitely higher grade and quality for the exposure they put out. The stand is pretty durable and raises to a decent height and adjusts with ease. The bag that it comes with eh not so much. I didn't like the bag that it came with, not of the highest quality, but thats okay I have another bag that I can use for easy transport when coming and going. But it would be an added improvement if they did put in a better quality bag.

Christmas gift for the girlfriend, she was ecstatic! She is the type that LOVES makeup and is very good with it. She had been talking about this for some time, how all the Youtube channels she watches use these Ring Lights for their makeup videos and this was very affordable and comes with everything she would need to start right out of the box (after a few minutes of me setting it up). The light has a dimmer that works very nicely, she usually doesn't need to have it maxed but it can and will get very bright! You will want one of the covers on or you may hurt your eyes or likely burn yourself (and it looks a little weird without them). I don't think we've even used the orange covers yet, but they are there I guess (I say orange but I'm colorblind so it's just a good guess). You can also tilt the light, up or down, as needed for the perfect angle. The phone/camera attachment in the middle is adjustable as well, making it possible to use numerous phones or cameras to record. This attachment does seem to 'drop' a bit after you get your angle however, so you may need to aim just a bit higher than what you want so it will drop into the correct position. The stand is sturdy enough if you want it to just sit there without being bothered. It has three sections (the tripod, lower half, upper half) and the light attaches onto the top. They can be adjusted for height at each level with knobs that tighten or loosen allowing the upper/lower halves to slide up or down. For her setup we needed it all the way down AND had to flatten the tripod to get it to her perfect height (she is 5'2'' and we only had a small folding chair available at the time). It also comes with a neat little bluetooth device that connects to your phone and snaps pictures for you, so you can pose or whatever it is you want and just press the button for an easier shot.

So far, so good! I've had this ring light a week now and it is great. When I unpacked everything, I realized there were no directions. It isn't the end of the world, but seriously... like one double sided sheet of paper or an email with directions, or and email with a link to the YouTube video I eventually had to find, would have been nice. The Youtube video doesn't even explain everything. It does show you how the stand works and how to attach all the pieces together. The legs come flipped 180 degrees the opposite direction, so it took me a few minutes to figure out that they need to be pulled 180 degrees the other way before they can be used to stand anything up. It also come with an extra plug which I'm guessing is for user in Europe. It comes with two sets of snap on filters, once for warm lighting and one for cool. I don't know that I'll ever use the warm, but it's nice to have it included in the kit. It also comes with a carry case for the light, not the stand. It would have been nice if the stand at least had a collapsable handle or something for easy of transport. The kit also comes with a bluetooth remote for taking pictures or starting and stopping your videos. That comes in its own box and amazingly has directions in it. The light itself is really great. It's LED which is great for conserving energy and not putting out a lot of heat. There is a knob under the ring light to turn on the light and also functions as a dimmer. This light gets REALLY bright. It's crazy. In the middle of the ring is where the holder for your phone goes which I love. You can also remove the phone holder and actually screw in your nice camera for photos or videos. Overall I'm very happy with this purchase. The photo I've included was taken with the ring light. I really wanted the 18" but for $100 less, I am happy with this light.

Este NEEWER ha sido una gran adición a mi equipo. La calidad de la luz que emite es excelente, muy suave y uniforme, lo que hace que las fotos y los vídeos tengan un aspecto mucho más profesional. Es fácil de montar y el soporte para el teléfono es muy útil para grabaciones rápidas. Además, los diferentes anillos de temperatura de color son un plus para adaptarse a distintas situaciones. La intensidad de la luz es regulable, lo que permite ajustarla perfectamente a mis necesidades. Es ligero y relativamente fácil de transportar. Quizás la bolsa de transporte podría ser de más calidad para protegerlo mejor cuando se lleva de un lado a otro, pero por lo demás, estoy muy satisfecho con su portabilidad. En general es una compra fantástica si buscas una iluminación de calidad para tus contenidos. Recomendable

El producto llegó rápido y muy protegido. Venía en paquete con el aro de luz de 14" y su tripode. También trae dos difusores uno blanco (el de la foto) y uno naranja (para una luz más cálida). Ilumina muchísimo! Y trae también un control remoto que se vincula con el celular para fotos y videos a distancia. Es muy fácil de instalar, si trae un manual de instalación pero por lógica lo arme sin problema. Trae también un accesorio para colocar tu celular en el medio del aro, agarra bien y no se mueve el celular (solo me preocupa que por el tiempo de tanto abrirlo y cerrarlo para colocar el celular se vaya a romper) Pero hasta ahorita todo bien. Si no colocas el accesorio de celular ese mismo accesorio te sirve para colocar una cámara profesional o semiprofesional. Los difusores pueden usarse (con una perilla que tiene en la parte de abajo del aro) en diferentes intensidades de luz, desde muy poquita luz, hasta muchísima! La puse en su mayor intensidad y el cuarto completamente oscuro se iluminó por completo. Es perfecto para fotos profesionales. Si se preguntan por el ancho o diámetro del aro, si pude pasar mi cabeza por el medio sin problema pero no pasa más allá de mis hombros.

I recommend this product; the quality is excellent. The only downside is that there aren't many variants available in light colors.

Ich fotografiere hobbymäßig und habe ein kleines Fotozelt im Keller stehen, um Produkte oder Kleinigkeiten zu fotografieren. Auch ein kleiner Mops saß schon drin :-) Damit bekomme ich weiche Hintergründe hin und habe Licht von 3 Seiten (oben, links und rechts). Jetzt hatte ich oft das Problem, dass das Licht von vorne fehlt. Ein Blitzlicht ist zu krass. Also wollte ich das hier ausprobieren. Das Stativ ist jetzt nicht unbedingt das Beste, aber für meine Zwecke reicht es voll und ganz. Steht aber super stabil! Was mich aber total umgehauen hat, war der Lichtring selbst. Ihr könnt das Licht dimmen. Und das müsst ihr auch! Denn 100% Licht sind richtig viel. Ich habe es meistens auf ca. 50%. Die Fotos werden damit richtig cool und sehen noch besser aus! Solltet ihr mit dem Ding auf Reisen gehen, gibt es eine ordentliche Tasche für den Lichtring. Aktuell arbeite ich meist mit dem weißen Diffusor, der Orangene macht mehr ein warmes Licht. Das ist auch nicht schlecht, aber für Produkte ist das Kaltweiße Licht einfach besser geeignet. Der Preis ist nicht ganz billig, aber ihr bekommt auch allerhand Zubehör. Die eine Stange (ich dachte es sei eine einfache Stativerweiterung) hat sich dann als Schwanenhals herausgestellt. Auch nicht schlecht :) Dann gibt es noch einen Bluetooth Fernauslöser. Klappt super mit einem Android Handy (IOS bestimmt auch, habe ich aber nicht) Beide Buttons (auch der IOS Button) reagiert bei meinem Handy problemlos. Ihr braucht auch keine extra App. Die Standard Foto App funktioniert super damit. Nur koppeln und los geht’s! Es könnte noch eine kleine Schlaufe beim Sender sein, aber die findet ihr sicherlich in einer Schublade daheim. Die Spange, um das Handy einzuklemmen, habe ich aber sofort durch eine andere mit Schraubverschluss getauscht. Diese Federdinger mag ich garnicht. Sie gehen schwer auseinander und das Handy rein- und rausfummeln geht irgendwann schief… Ich finde das Ding einfach cool und es lässt Fotos ganz anders aussehen! Alle Daumen hoch!

Very nice product, really use for making videos and portrait photography. My wife use this as a make up light and taking her clients pictures. Amazing result, Studio like lighting. Must buy!
