This product was super simple to install and the material is a heavy duty metal. It fit perfectly on my door. When locked, the door barely moves which gives my husband and I so much ease knowing we have that extra security, not only from anyone trying to get in on the outside but also from our toddler who has gotten very interested in trying to open our door. Great product at a great value!

I like that this was easy to install, easy to use, and is very strong even with testing opening the door with a lot of force. It snaps into locking position easily. It can be a little hard to pop it out of the locking position so consider installing it a few cm out. Your door will likely swell a little in the heat and you'll need to make sure there's a little extra space to be able to unlock it.

They do what claim to do. My doors only have one lock. Where my toddler would unlock and open the door. These locks (I purchased 2)were the cheaper easier route to drilling a hole on the door and installing another lock. They were very easy to install with a power drill. Keeps the door safely locked and fits well in between the door and the frame. The locks are sturdy and cannot be opened from outside like other over the door locks.

Works well and looks sleek. 4 stars because we have to chisel in the door frame which was fine but that wasn’t listed as a possible step in the instructions.
