I bought this item for my wife. So far, she is very happy with its water-shedding ability and its ability to block the wind - all in a very light and flexible package. The final proof will be in how long the jacket continue to perform this well. My wife is not an easy person to please but, so far, she is very content with the jacket.

I bought this to go over bulkier clothes for football games, glad I got the size I did (1 size up from what I'd normally wear). It's only slightly heavier than I thought, but I've worn it during summer thunderstorms without getting too hot. The material is very strong and definitely keeps me dry, and it will definitely help with the warmth factor during football season (wind resistant). Love the zippered pockets: 1 on each side, one breast pocket. The hood and bottom can be cinched tighter. Only downside: no visor on the hood - I wear glasses, and even that small, fake visor you see on other brands would be helpful. The purple color I chose is perfect for Baltimore football.

Awesome jacket that held up better then all my friends much more expensive raincoats! Used it hiking the Appalachian trail and although I was sweating it kept the continuous rain out and dried incredibly quick. Highly recommend!
