This rod is pretty amazing. The color was true to the image, this really nice brushed bronze color with hints of gold swirled in there. I paired this up with some nice similarly colored hooks and it's like a night and day difference with the broken old white plastic rod and hooks we used to have. The rod has stayed in place nicely. There's some basic instructions that come with it, to explain basically just make sure to pull the rod to about a half an inch longer than what you need, and you should be able to set the tension up perfectly when you go to fit it against the walls. It doesn't feel cheaply made. There are two small, rubbery foam pads on the ends too that help stay pressed against tile.

We've had this shower curtain rod for six months now and it is still performing great. My wife has hung a couple of damp shirts on it multiple times with no problem. Both ends are mounted on porcelain ceramic subway tile and there has been no slippage and I have not had to retighten or adjust the rod so I'm very happy with its holding power. Quality components and no signs of rust. A magnet will not stick to it so I think it really is stainless steel, not just a SS looking finish over some other metal. I couldn't find this quality at the big box stores and I checked them all. I would definitely buy it again and recommend it to friends and family. VERY pleased with this purchase.

Recently, my shower door gave out. In the interim of trying to find a reasonable price on fixing/replacing my shower stall door I decided to hang a shower curtain up so I could still utilize the shower. The first shower rod I bought (different brand and style) fell down on me mid shower. It was super flimsy and obviously not meant to hold a shower curtain, so I went on the search for another one. I came across this one and it is by far superior in both durability, strength and style. This holds both the shower curtain and the liner with no problems what-so-ever. Now keep in mind, this is a small opening about 34", but I could not find a shower curtain or liner I liked. I have a full size shower curtain and liner on this rod and it holds it with zero problems! I literally can pull on the rod and it does not budge. I'm VERY pleased with this and might wait some time to actually put in a new shower door as I like the look of this and my shower curtain more! Great product and worth the cost.

We have three of these in our place. They are strong, stable, and work well. No complaints. They are not the cheapest, and not the most expensive. To me the value is in the sweet spot for this type of product.
