Great extremely portable multi-functional stationery item which uses an ceramic blade/cutter.Very practical "office" tool for personal use.

Unlike a lot of Japan made products, the midori letter cutter is very difficult to use. You have to precisely get the blade under the envelope flap or it won't cut open the envelope. Once the blade slips out, it's almost impossible to put it back to finish opening the envelope. I do not recommend purchasing this product. Even went online to see if there are any videos to show how to efficiently use it but no go. A detailed video should be offered to show how to use this item.

It’s smaller than I thought and only works if you go really slow with it. But it’s alright

これは、便利です。封筒を開封するのに、ハサミを取りに行ったり切った後で切り端を捨てるために、またゴミ箱まで移動したりと、、、頻繁に届けられるDMの封筒など少しだけストレスになります。封印された封筒の一番はじをこのカッターの溝にひっかけるだけ、後は右へスライドするとカッターが切ってくれます。切り端のゴミもでないので、すっきり。切り口も美しくすっきり。これは、便利なわりに廉価ですので買い置きをして、何かお礼に使ったりお返しの品に使ったりもしています。
