Looks delicate yet professional!
As soon as it arrived, I was surprised that it’s so compact and shorter than I expected. Usually, penlights span a bit longer than the length of a standard pen but the total exterior look especially the design & finish, the 3-mode light switch choices, & durable exterior seems like it will withstand time. I use it in my medical profession & so far, the ones I need to examine comes out quickly distinct under its brightness.

Usefulness: Used successfully as an outpatient primary care medical light, but with quirks. There are three light brightness settings: the full bright setting is good for wound inspection when you have mediocre overhead lights but will blind everyone and washout the skin if turned on in a dark room or on light skin. The most dim setting is too dim for anything, including for an eye/pupil exam except maybe if in a dark room. Problem: one star knocked off because this thing goes through AAA batteries very quickly. Luckily my work provides batteries for free, making this more of an inconvenience than a financial burden. Function: One click turns on the bright setting. Second click turns it off. Third click in relatively quick succession after the fist two turns on medium fourth turns it off. Fifth is dimmest setting. Sixth turns off and starts over the count/settings

Got this single pen light along with a pair of another brand's pen lights (LE LED). The latter was half the price and you got two pen lights instead of just one. The light beam of this is wider and warmer than the other brand. If that's good for you, then you can justify the price. If that's not important, then the other brand is a much better value. Leaving this at three stars for now until I have a better sense of durability.
