This kit is aimed squarely at younger Lego builders. Basic building techniques throughtout and an easy to follow, guided build process is ideal for kids who are new to Lego or still not ready for anything too sophisticated.The clear instructions really help finding the right pieces by way of indicating which parts to have in your hands before putting in place on the assembly, something I've not seen before but awesome that Lego have found a way to simplify things for early learners without feeling patronising.The final result is a nice little plane with a Mickey minifigure, nothing earth shattering but the experience of building it together was what counts.A 4-5 year old could easily build this solo, any younger would probably need help

I got this as a last-minute birthday gift but when it came the box was so badly damaged there was no way I could give it as a gift! I had to go to a local shop and buy something else. I decided to keep this set to save the hassle of sending it back and it probably going in the bin or to someone else damaged. It was a fun little make. Easy, simple, fun, and Mickey Mouse - what’s not to love?! Would definitely recommend, just hope the box doesn’t come as damaged as mine did! No idea how it could be sent out in such awful condition and someone thought that was ok!

To get a Disney set for under ten pounds and for it to include Mickey dressed as a pilot is incredible value for money and so I have also purchased another of these sets for a friends child so my review may show both the verified purchase and vine review labels on it.The set is small but as mentioned above its incredible value for money at under nine pounds as it has so much play value for the 59 parts.The Mickey figure is so cute in his old fashioned pilot costume and I love that he can sit in the plane and that it even has a Mickey Mouse shaped tool station for when he needs to do essential maintenance on the plane.The decorated parts are printed so no fiddly stickers for little hands and the instructions are really easy to follow.A fantastic little Disney set and I think this may be a stocking filler for lots of little ones this Christmas.

This is such a great little set and have given as a gift several times over the last few weeks and has always been well received. Had to get one for our family.A great starter set and easy build for little fingers.The cute Mickey minifigure in vintage pilot outfit will be a popular and sought after figure in years to come.

Great small kit, used with a 3year old who can follow the instructions and build this from scratch. The end result is very good and you can see the pride when they build it alone. We'll worth the price.

My oldest daughter (4yrs) has just made that leap from duplo to Disney/friends Lego additions. This little pick with the booklet was a great support in what she had to do (pulling certain pieces out from the bag of small bits). The images within showed images of small hands and the pieces she needed to complete the step! She made it within 30mins with very very little help!

Such a lovely one and easy enough for a 4 year old to build. Little one built it and has lobed playing with it

This is the 3rd lego that is not duplo we got for my soon to be 4 year old daughter. She loved it. It was easy to follow and she did it in good time. She loved it so much she slept with it
