No these were the standard peppermint with no tint.

Do some of the flavors have a shine or a tint to them?

As with any oil or fat, there is a bit of shine to it, though nothing like a lip gloss.The pomegranate is a red stick and it adds a very slight tint. I should mention I'm Caucasian with olive skin tone.

Does it protect from sun? SPF?

This pack does not have sun protection but burts bee's does make different ones that do have spf 15 or 30
