Harcourt Social Studies: Student Edition Grade 5 Us: Making a New Nation 2010

I purchased this book while we roadschooled our 5th grader over a portion of the winter. The book touches on American history in a relevant manner, blending vocabulary and writing skills if interested. Discussion material was helpful at the end of each chapter & utilized the end unit questions as a test. When I returned our daughter to school, she was well-versed beyond what school curriculum she missed. We are also utilizing this as a reference along with her class lectures— as a parent, I am enjoying this book as an at-home resource.

Really pleased, book arrived in excellent condition. The book works for homeschooling my 5th grader since an online program did not meet his educational needs. The textbook is clear to work through, has pages designated with the textbook so you know where to find the information. No answers in this book which makes cheating harder for kids, other workbooks we’ve used we have to pull the answer keys out. This book is great to use with the textbook.
