SperryMen's Sea Kite Sport Moc Boat Shoe

I've been told that a bellwether for car manufacturers are the little things. Particularly, the stitching of the seats. If you can see that the stitching is close knit, it's possibly a small indication to the overall quality. large stitching, on the other hand, will save the company literally millions of dollars over the long run as opposed to close knit. Why do I bring this up?Shoelaces are the close stitching in shoes. Shoes are mostly shoes, but the laces are a quick and easy way to shave cents off a shoe.I've bought this shoe many times. The brown ones are great, the grey ones are also great. Their laces are these nice, thick, tough lace. The blue laces are about half the diameter. It's a quibble, but that's what reviews are for. The shoe's proportions actually look a biiiit different with the thin laces, and I'm not a huge fan. Everything else about the blue shoes is awesome, though.At the time of this review, these shoes cost $110. Normally, I would not spend this on a shoe, but I had some credit, so I splurged. But for over a HUNDRED dollars I expect an overall quality shoe. I'm probably going to get some thicker laces ... and lacing up this shoe is going to be brutal, but probably worth it to tighten the look up.Wanted to give 3 stars, but these ARE cool shoes ... so point added ...Sperry, if you've read this far, spend the extra twenty five cents and thicken up those blue laces.The skinniness of them is kind of ridiculous.

The best shoes ever ! These shoes are super comfy with great support. I use orthotics and wearing these shoes, I don’t need them .

These are good quality sports shoes. Inside and out they are well made and avoid the excesses of most running shoes. Pity they don’t come in white, and here a general comment is due that Sperry is always late to market with fashion and never has all sizes, especially wide.

These are real Sperry Topsiders. Not knock offs which is primary. I ordered 13 Wide and they fit perfectly.

I really like the look of these shoes. They are a little sportier than the Billfish 3-Eye Sperry's I usually wear. They fit as expected, and are a very good quality. My only complaint would be that they could use a little more support in the sole/arch. I initially was using these daily but had to start using them less since I didn't feel like they were properly supporting my feet which I hate because they are my favorite shoes.

Pros: True to size. Comfortable to wear straight out of box.Con: Shoelace eyelet had a rough inside edge and put pulls in new shoelace.

Bought for my husband. Arrived after I ordered third day. He said it's fit well and comfortable. Easy on and easy off. His very happy with this order.

These shoes have excellent bond between the sole and the upper shoe! They are also very comfortable!
