This is an expansion card for the 7 Wonders Duel Game. The Messe Essen Convention Center is a Wonder for the 7 Wonders: Duel game. The completed Messe is worth 2 points at the end of the game. It also allows the player, in the moment when it's built, to take one card from the topmost row of the drafting structure (the line laying directly on the table), even if the card is still covered, and build it in her own city for free - only paying the price of the wonder.

The wonder is ok, but it's not worth the price for ONE card... This isn't an "expansion", it's an extra wonder card.

We have played many, many games of 7 Wonders Duel now. It's a great two-player game and in some ways improves the 7 Wonders game itself. This card is an expansion to the 7 Wonders Duel game. It is a hard to find promo that adds an additional Wonder to the game. In our case, we've been looking for as many extras for 7 Wonders Duel as we can, and there isn't a lot out there.The card is a really nice addition. It allows you to take one of the topmost cards and build it for free, once the Messe Essen is built. Anyone who has played the game knows it's a powerful effect. Anyone who is a boardgame nerd, also will recognize "Messe Essen" as the name of the exhibition center where the huge, international Spiel game convention is held.
