Square Register - Powered by Square POS

I previously bought a register through Square but it was malfunctioning so I returned it and bought this one through Amazon. I read through some other reviews on here saying they received a used product that wasn’t working. Obviously this doesn’t apply to everyone but this wasn’t the case for me. I received a brand new register. I’ve had it for almost a month and it’s been working perfectly. Another review I read claimed that it wasn’t backed by warranty. I called up Square shortly after receiving this register and they confirmed I was covered under warranty until December 2026. It also shows up in my Square dashboard when I search up the register’s serial number. I recommend calling them up as soon as you receive the product to make sure. Overall it’s been good and my customers enjoy the new hardware. I will update this review if anything occurs.

I had an electronic stand alone cash register which was starting to die. It was time for a replacement. I already use Square for credit card processing so it was easy to consider the Square register. So far I am extremely pleased with this product. It is super easy to program in products. You can input data directly to the square register through the touch screen, and you can use square dashboard from any computer and input items and prices. The Square design team has put a lot of thought into the look, feel, and function of this product. Also, I purchased a cash drawer and receipt printer. Hooking these two items up to the Square Register was flawless and easy. (Now ask yourself: How many times have you tried hooking up new hardware and then spent HOURS on the phone with technical support to get all the pieces to work together?) Square has really hit one out of the ball park with this product.

I bought this register a while back. So this review is only true for my product. I di not see that the Square register was a used one sold by a 3rd party. Anyway, when it came, the box looked new, but everything else was used, and only the main screen worked. My new cash box, reciept machine or customer screen didn't work. But unlike the other bad review I read here. Amazon went out of the way to contact the seller and refunded my entire money back. I went to the Square website and ordered a new one there and everything work perfect. Thanks Amazon customer service.

Good buy does have its issues

Works great!

Bought this for my small business. Setup was easy and waiting to open the store and get going. Previously owned a wireless square and it worked great as well. Just wanted an upgrade with the new store. 👍🐈‍⬛🐈‍⬛🐈‍⬛
