The sides of this drain strainer are raised too high to catch things. I found that particles gathered all around the edges instead of going into the strainer. And then, of course, would go down the drain on lifting the strainer, defeating the purpose. Also when things did go in the strainer, often times they would still go through the holes. Buy the OXO brand, it works great. Only bought these as I wanted something like my OXO brand to give to my daughter, and needed a small item to get to the free shipping amount. Didn’t spend a lot but they are going in the trash.

These are good for the money. They aren’t anything fancy. It seems less food gets stuck in the little holes than the old ones these replaced. I’m not sure if that is a good thing or a bad thing.

compared with my $1 one this is far not thereit is easy to clean and it fit in the kitchen sink, but the water will not flow quick and I have to constantly clean it

These are cute and function correctly for the most part however the raised rim of the poece prevents full drainage of the sink

These strainers are durable and beautiful. The holes are the perfect size so that food doesn’t go through. Love the pastel colors. Totally recommend.

The water doesn't fully drain from the sink. I purchased this to replace another one that I could not find an exact replacement for. The old one was flush around the outer edges to the sink drain. This one is not, therefore the liquid just stays pooled in the sink.
