Great for working outdoors!!
If you work outside in the winter, this is the greatest boot you could ever own!! The only change I would make is to buy the mid boot,(shorter size) warmest ever, so comfortable. If you are working outside, this is the boot for you.

The best boot I wear
Being out in the country with horses as well as doing building work, you want boots that do the job. The muck boot arctic sport are the best I have worn over the years and whilst there may be cheaper, these are definitely the best. They are comfortable what ever the time of year or conditions, have fantastic tread and never make my feet sweat or get cold. These are my go to boot of choice.

Nice boot to slosh through anything, warm for a rubber boot, too!
I ordered these for a friend who outwalked her last pair. She normally wears an 8 1/2 shoe, and the size 9 was perfect for her. We drive horse carriages in Michigan, so we sit 4' in the air and don't move our feet much for about 3-4 hours on a busy night. You can't get much colder than that. She loves them and swears they keep her feet plenty warm with a mid-weight sock. She also wears these for barn chores and anything else she needs to do. She loves them.On a side note, if you have a wide calf, the top rim will feel like a rubber band around your calf. I have a 16 1/2" calf, and this entire line by Muck Boot fits snug on my calf. I wear leggings with them and throw snow pants overtop. I think a pair of jeans would be out of the question for me.These boots are really comfortable to wear and really don't require any breaking in. They don't feel like bricks on your feet and they're relatively attractive.I purchased the MuckBoots Arctic Ice boot since it was rated for even colder weather. I am always cold, my feet are constantly cold, and I'll be honest, my feet are NOT super warm in them. I switched to them from HUGE ice fishing boots that have a removable liner and pocket under the toe for toe warmers. I'm not sure I would be warm in any boot without the toe warmers. I did not feel that these are a miracle boot for sitting and doing nothing. However, when you move around/walk, they are really toasty!

Don't be fooled
I was so excited when my wife bought these boots for me. They are very comfortable, and waterproof. The information that says they are good down to -40 is a bunch of crap though. I was working outside today chopping wood in about +20 in a light jacket. I was getting hot and a bit sweaty, but my feet were freezing. -40 yeah right. Do not buy these boots if you expect to be out in temps below +30, your feet will freeze.

Muck boots are amazing, and this pair keeps me warm.
I have been doing some extra work grooming horses for the past few months. I have the Much Chore boots, which are great...keep my feet clean and dry, are pretty comfy for big boots, not too heavy, easy to put on and take off, and easy to clean with a rinse from the hose. But as it got colder, so did my feet. I tried to wear thicker socks, but then my toes felt stuffed in, and still too cold. These were my regular size 8, which fit fine with regular medium thick socks. I got these Arctic Sport pair, and they are so much warmer. They do all of the above, seem to be a bit lighter, and again keep my toes nice and toasty. I did order one size up to a 9, so I can wear a few layers of socks (silk liners, merino ankle socks, toe warmers, and really thick wool boot socks). So these are perfect in the cold, but I suggest going up a size if you want to wear thick socks. And the Chore boots will be perfect when it gets warmer.
