This works so much better than any separator you can buy. I have read some of the negative reviews and I do not agree at all. I use these for every day wear as well as high tempo walking 3-6 miles a day. If I felt a little odd sensation on the big toe, I trimmed the seam really close and had no issue but I would just be sure you are getting the right size. If you have it on properly, there should be no way it can rub or cause friction on the toe. Make sure it is aligned so there are no wrinkles in the toe and it lays nice and flat. Perhaps also, break it in just as you would an orthodic device if you have super sensitive feet. I have very dry and calloused feet and have NO issues with this product. Extremely high quality and I have ordered several. I put them through a lot with my exercise regimen and they last and wash well. My very first one is showing it bit of wear but it has been worn well and washed weekly for well over a year.

I wore this for a couple hours, as recommended. It didn't do anything whatsoever to relieve the mild pain my bunion is causing. The second day I wore it for a longer period of time thinking that perhaps I didn't have it on long enough. Still no realignment of my toe, but I NOW do have a 1/4 inch abraded area along the outside and top of my toe from the exceptionally large seam inside the big toe area. It's terrible. I will never put this piece of junk on my foot again.I have a very mild foot problem so if this product isn't working for me I can't imagine who it would help. My big toe is slightly out of alignment and when gently realigned it feels a lot better. I thought I'd try this product because I do not need a lot of "pull" on my toe to realign it, but there's absolutely nothing about this product that will help to realign your toe. The band around the ball of my foot seems kind of loose, and the length of the bootie is okay... Not too snug, but also not too loose... But it's doing nothing. Don't waste your money on this! There are far better products on the market for bunion relief.

able to wear all day on the 1st day; washing and wearing will cause stretching over time...just ordered my 4th & 5th bunion bootie (no toe hole)...'tis expensive, but it does help keep my big toe alignment during the day ... at night I wear the Nighttime Bunion Regulator ... I'm on my feet, outside, a greater part of the day and the bunion bootie keeps the big toe from leaning on the next toe so that it leans on the next toe, and so on, which causes my foot's toes to push on the right side of any shoe or over the side of a sandal and that causes pain. With the bunion bootie, all my toes have realigned more to 'normal'....without pain. Great product. I wear a size 71/2 shoe and the X-Small, RIGHT bunion bootie works perfectly for me.UPDATE July 5, 2017: After ordering 9 bunion booties, I received one package that did not have a bootie in it: when I tried to get a replacement package with a real bunion bootie in the package rather than the empty bunion bootie package that I received, the Bunion Bootie Support Team told me in an email that they had reviewed my orders, but then wanted me to repeat all that info in an e-mail to them....when I did that it took a lot of time and I am not a computer person; I managed to copy one by one all the info that I found in my amazon orders area of amazon, but not all of it copied, even tho it looked like it had, so the info that the bunion bootie support team received was evidently not what they wanted from me....I've pleaded with them to HELP me, but I doubt now that I will get that help.....I've spent a lot of money on the bunion booties and they are truly a great product; however, the bunion bootie team is the most unsupportive team that I've come into contact with during my time with Amazon.com. I will continue to purchase the bunion booties until I can find a BETTER replacement, all due to the bunion bootie support team wasting my time with retrieving info that they already have right in front of them....very poor support team indeed is the bunion bootie support team.....

Order a size below yours because it's super loose. Didn't really do what I wanted it to do.. It fell short for me, but maybe it's just me.

I've been buying bunion bootie's for years. Once my current ones get a little old and worn, I am right back at the computer purchasing another. I can't say that it isn't uncomfortable at times, but it has to be in order to straighten my big toe and let my bones go back to where they should be. It always feels better in the long run.

Very thin and comfortable. I think I can wear it all day. I don’t have bunion now. But to use it as prevention. The changes after wearing them are small, need to compare before and after very carefully. I think I can make the change more by stitch more at the heel to make it tighter.

For me—no good at all. Not only did it *not* straighten my toe at all, the seams also dug into my toe badly and really hurt! I tried just wearing it a little at a time at first, as recommended, and gave it a pretty long trial... well over a week... but essentially, if it WASN'T pulling my toe over to straighten it and WAS hurting, it was clearly not for me. I read many glowing reviews and I really wanted to like it, but unfortunately this just wasn't any good for me.The company made good on their guarantee, and I really appreciate them for that. Just want to remind folks, especially because there are so many happy reviews and so little countering those with any other experiences—that this bootie won't work for everybody.

Very helpful wearing on my right foot. Fits over big toe and has just enough tension to straighten out joint. Easy to wear under socks too
