Cute
Cutest thing, so glad we can buy this in the US. It's a traditional kayari buta, a mosquito coil holder used in Japan. Reminds me of the pigs from Mononoke. Well packaged and well made.

Very nostalgic, good for burning katorisenko.
I bought this for my mother. She is from Japan and I recall seeing them in use when I was a child visiting Japan during the summertime. Brought back those memories for me as well as my mother. This holder will protect the incense coil from accidentally being knocked over, as well as reduce the impact of breezes causing the incense to burn quickly. Initially had to fiddle with the wire holder inside, but once we got it adjusted, it's kind of plug-n-play. Some people may find it difficult to light or put out while inside the holder, so you may have to pull it out to do so, or get a stick lighter/long clip. The one annoying thing is the shape of the holder wire is round and the center holder slit on the incense coil needs to be poked out a little bit to make it easier to place on the wire. Other than that, this thing is great!

So cute!
People love the mosquito pig! Its such a cute way to hide away the burning mosquito coil and we get a lot of compliments on it. It's a little tricky to hang the coil on the wire inside and then light it, but worth it. Works with Off brand coils just fine.

SUGOI Katori Buta
Very nostalgic (high quality) item reminds me of my childhood in early 1960s Japan though this item dates decades before this time. You can either hang the katori-senko (mosquito coil) inside with the provided wire or you can use the stand that comes with the katori-senko box. These and mosquito netting were standard items on hot summer nights in rural Japan. I was very surprised to see this "Katori Buta" in the 2016 period piece anime "In This Corner of the World" which I highly recommend (on Netflix). Great product, order your's today!

Brings awesome character to any backyard
Seen these many times in Japanese movies/shows or anime and always wanted to get one. We recently did a complete makeover of our backyard and wanted to add something charming along with all our new flowers and patio furniture. This little thing works out perfect as it looks cute and unique while also allowing is to deter mosquitoes at the same time. Can’t think of any complaints about it. Wish it wasn’t as pricey as it was so we could get a few more to spread around our property.

Great with citronella mosquito coils.
This item does a good job of distributing mosquito coil smoke and is cute. We have three positioned around our grill and patio dining set. Coils will last around 5-7 hours when burned in this katoributa.
