Aqueon Aquarium Silicone Sealant Clear, 3 Ounces

Works WONDERS!!! used it for my bearded dragon's tank, sticking well to the wood, glass and various rocks.👍 the tube didn't bust for me (I was very gentle) the smell was expected but not as bad as the comments bad it out to be but that's just me. I ended up having to remove some of the rocks and let me tell you! this silicone is worth it, like seriously it was flexible, but it stayed put.

Used this to repair a water fountain and it worked perfectly, dried clear and is completely inconspicuous.

I bought this specific product because I didn’t want to mess with a tubes that require a gun. A few days ago I bought a used fish tank and failed to inspect it thoroughly. Later, I found a couple of cracks in its glass. The cracks were hair-thin and long, not through-and-through. I put strips of masking tape around the cracks, applied the silicone direct from the tube (I did not use the provided nozzle attachment), smoothed silicone with an old credit card, and left it overnight. Next day, I removed the masking tape and scraped extra silicone off with a razor (I keep a surplus of them to score bread). The treated cracks are indeed invisible. I am happy with the product.

Works as expected..the tube is kind of terrible though and doesnt seem to be actually sealed on the end, because both tubes I have used end up squirting out the back if you dont make sure to squeeze the silicone from the back of the tube.

It seals really well, easily spreads and dries pretty quickly. I also used it to cement the light strip to the aquarium hood because it fell off into the aquarium. And I found another use for it because I used it to cement the metal wing back onto my metal crane lawn ornament.

This silicone worked exactly as expected. It was easy to apply, cured well, and created a strong, watertight seal. Perfect for small aquarium repairs or sealing projects. The clear finish blends in nicely and gives a professional-looking result.

Like all aquarium sealants of this type, the vinegar smell is strong. Comes with a nozzle screw cap. I just needed a small amount to use on some tubing for my custom water change system. Just extra piece of mind to prevent leaks. Seems to be holding up well in that regards. It might be a one time use type of deal though since the nozzle doesn’t have a cap. I figure once it’s dried up in there you can’t use it again. You’ll just have to use it straight from the tube.

This sealant worked well but the bottom of the tube was already set and solid, could not squeeze sealed end of tube. Had enough to seal what I needed, but the rest was unusable.

I have a butter dish with a lid that I absolutely love, however once summer came small gnats were coming through the open screen window and getting through the gaps between the lid and dish itself and into my butter. Yuck! I decided to make a gasket so the lid sinks into position and seals so nothing can get in. Worked out awesome! Super happy. Figured if its safe for fish its safe for me.

Great Product. My main tank cracked half way down and I needed a temporary solution to keep my fish alive whilst waiting for my new tank. I applied the solution onto the crack and it was able to significantly stop the water leaking.

not useful, it is the same material used in other silicon sealants. not worth to buy. go for cheap one.
