love it ordered a second unit
what i difference this makes at heating the cottage, we have a plug in electric fan in the stove but the noise is annoying so we don't use it much, decided to try these voodoo fans because i saw one at a friends and it was completely silent and this one is exactly that completely silent almost makes you wonder if its working but when you put paper in front you see it lift so its doing something. Another nice bonus is you can see across them room when its time to add wood as the fan spins proportionality to the heat so as it slowdown you know its time to add wood.

Excellent quality - proof that good things can come in ...
This is the second unit I've purchase this year due to how effective it is. I relocated the first one from my workshop to have it join the new arrival on our in-house wood stove and together they really make a difference in circulating the heat in our open concept living space. Excellent quality - proof that good things can come in small packages :)

The size of the fan is nice and there is no noise that comes from it
This Ecofan has increased the heat movement from our wood stove. It has made a noticeable impact on keeping the neat on the main living area and keeping it from heating the ceiling only.The size of the fan is nice and there is no noise that comes from it. Great addition!

Slow to start
Once it gets going it works well but it is rather slow to start. If you are going to buy an Ecofan, do not buy the original but the more recent models that have a lower temp starting threshold.
